Because 'awesomest parents ever' would imply that they were perfect. They came close, but not perfect.

my mom isent very cool, shes okay but keeps keeping me from stuff, like once a year once when i was young she kept setting new plans on how i may play and when, if i misbehave (wich was extreme rare since i love them) i got no computer or no tv, until i proved i was good to have it,
and my dad is kinda less of, he cant keep up to stuff and normally cant do shit, (my parents are divorced... no wonder) still my dad is more acceptable with computer games

I Absolutley love my mum to bits, she understands me, sees both sides of the story, sympasizes, loves, does stuff for me but lets me do my own thing and sometimes make my own mistakes.
My dad however... well i won't swear, but he will spend time with me and buy me things and enjoy it, and we'll have fun but he is so selfish, never considers what i want, how i feel or sees it from my perspective! he will only think of hiself and will never admit he is wrong, he will not let me put my point back at him, even if he is completely WRONG! but no... i've got a hole in the wall where he's fustrated me that much. he loves me but he's too bloody selfish.

I still love 'em though

My dad he's very strict but means well, and my mother is a saint! no matter what she tells me i do the opposite but she still persists and has never given up on me

But now I'm 20 i've grown up and respect them and if something needs doing i'll do it, not like when i was 16 tleling them to piss off and going out.

My parents are great and they do everything to help me and my brothers out, they have raised us really well despite being separated. They're also really nice and have a sense of humor, but lately my dad has been annoying me with religion talk.

My parents are good. They treat me well and I grew into a good person, but I wish they'd bothered trying to teach me things like morality and virtue. I learned that stuff all on my own, but I still make bad mistakes sometimes.

They did a pretty good job, I was taught enough morals and self discipline to make the right choices and yet be myself and enjoy life without worrying at every corner of my morality.
