it's a mix of severe insomnia, my love for playing video games at night, and i just don't like being up during the day. Watch the sun rise then go to bed. Best day ever :D

Usually because my sister's on the computer for most of the day, so I get a little while after she goes to bed.
I don't particularly like night though. I'm too jumpy, I assume every noise at the window is some madman who wants to mount my head on a wall. Or something.

Mainly insomnia caused by working 3rd shift years back, sometimes too much caffeine, or many other possible reasons. I can type as many excuses as you want to read.

I usually stay up at night when I'm high on a gaming trip. Had several all nighters after getting Oblivion, for example.
Damn you, now I need to play Oblivion again. Thanks for keeping me up all night

Its mainly when my parents are out off town and I just wander around. If I am really bored I will make small stencil and spray it on evelvated bus stop kerbs.
I like late night wandering, but i prefer it if someone is with me to actaully motivate me t do somthing.

I use to have the exact same fear but with Aliens, ever since to godam paper reported them after a couple spotted them looking though there windows.
Getting a powerful hunting air rifle sloved that issue of sercurity. before I got I used a crowbar.

I enjoy the silence. Finally, some time to think clearly!

All my best ideas were conceived while in bed, staring at the ceiling, so a bit of creativity as well. But it's mostly because of the silence.

Because I hate the daystar and all who worship it.
I think that it the greatest thing I have heard all night, mind if I use that reason to hate most people?

Night is better. It's not as bright, it's cooler, it's more beautiful when it isn't cloudy seeing the stars, and there's less people.
I'm completely with Crudus, also I seem to have more energy once the sun is down

I am the same way. My roommate can't stand the dark when we are staying up so all of the lights are on and I just can't stay up and I go to bed. When I get in a dark room I am fully awake. My pineal gland got reversed me thinks.

Insomnia. It sucks, and sucks HARD.

It especially since since my ADHD and subsequent strange body chemistry means that some sleeping pills will leave me completely wired and bouncing off the walls instead of asleep.

Coffee will knock me out, but I hate the taste of coffee.

Loads of different reasons. I'm a night owl I guess (not in the sense that I go out to fight crimes -.-), or at least at times. It's just easier to think and concentrate when most other people are not. It's just all so calm, there is time to reflect on the hectic day that has passed.
