I think Sony should get with SCE and reboot the Legend of Dragoon from PS1. I LOVE that game even today! I still have my PS1 discs and they still work. I would like to see the same game, same story, same characters, same systems(maybe better stat balancing with some items) but make the graphics worthy of this generation of games.
LoD as a PSOne Classic was a best seller for 3 months straight on PSN and was top 5 for 5 months! It sold over a Million PS1 copies back in the old days when it came out. I've played and beaten FF7, FF8, and FF9, and the systems, challenge, and storytelling in LoD surpassed them all. (Yes i know I'm gonna get flamed, but really folks, without the nostalgia value, FF7 was not god's gift to gaming. Neither is LOD, I just liked it better.)
It could sell Millions of copies easily! the story was wonderful, well paced, and executed well. The addition system let you chose what combos you wanted to use and challenged you to master them all, It was hard but addicting, like playing Minecraft on Hardcore mode. The cinematics quality then was off the charts for the time, and with these days it could be so much more! I see comments about LoD on Playstation.com posts about new FF games(I want XV really bad.)
The dragoon transformations were epic, it was that moment of "That's it, your going down!" it was your greatest power and it really shined in boss fights. The soundtrack was inspiring! I still play Dart's theme on my gaming playlist all the time! "If you still believe" from the OST was one of the most beautiful songs i've heard in a game and captures the essence of LoD very well.
