So, Deep Space 9 was watchable, but it wasn't particularly impressive. I'll probably watch it when I really need a distraction (as I regularly do) but it's still really mediocore.

So we did talk you into B5 hehe. try givin it more time, its a slow show to get into, and it gets much better after the commander change in season 2, and once you know the characters and thier backgrounds the relationships between them become very intresting. it is inteligently written, but its not jumping into your eyes waving how smart it is.

The commander changes? Sold! I'll start watching it Soon (TM).

Yep they get a new commander in season 2, not sure why, probably casting reasons (they didnt like the actor or he wanted out or whatever) But the second one sort of stays thoughout and blends in much better.

You liked Atlantis over SG-1? HERESY!
Altanis was pretty good, but I just enjoyed the cast of SG-1 much more (especially when O'Neill/RDA was around). McKay was good, but overall they just can't stand up to the combined awesome of the SG-1 team.

personally i think SG-1 was shining because of O'Neill and Teal'c whole in Atlantis "the alien" was rather irritating, but the others were quite nice.
