The real question is why would they want to work for those people.
And this is why some people need to stop making sweeping remarks about the majority of human life.CoziestPigeon said:This is why religious people need a reality check.
How many people have died because of religion? How many people live terrible, terrible lives? How much sense does religion make?Char-Nobyl said:And this is why some people need to stop making sweeping remarks about the majority of human life.CoziestPigeon said:This is why religious people need a reality check.
That was totally a non-biased assesment of religion. /sarcasmCoziestPigeon said:*snip
How many people have died because of non-religious reasons (a shit load more than religious reasons). How many non-religious people live terrible, terible lives? How much sense doesn't religion make? (okay the last question was stupid, and I don't quite understand how your second question relates to religion)CoziestPigeon said:How many people have died because of religion? If you want to believe in your God, I support you. Believe in your God and act for yourself however your religion dictates.
The second you try and affect another person with it, you are crossing the line and need to step the fuck back and re-evaluate what you are doing.
What does this have to do with anything? OPs news was saying that religious institutions are or arn't allowed to discriminate in certain situations. There is no enemy here. Tolerance has nothing to do with whats going on.Jesus taught his followers to love your enemy, and to be tolerant of everyone. The way some Christian groups go against this basic principle of their own religion angers me.
