I'd probably just reprogram the fuck-bot to be a maid, seeing as how I'm an asexual, which means I don't enjoy sex.

This is actually a concept that scientists are working on. It might be possible in the future!

Yet, people have needs, and with the large population we don't really need such an epic large population anymore. So if someone isn't discriminating against robots to cause the Matrix, he/she might as well try to get whoopie with a friend of wire and steel.

On the other hand. No emotion? But that's the fun of it! Emotion enhights the experience, without emotion it's like screwing HAL. "Ooh, aah, I like that, Folio. More." *shivers*

Being autistic myself, I hardly know that much about social interactions. Maybe I'm too young/hasty/inexperienced, or just awkward/ugly. I don't know. Getting a 'Jenny' is the easy way out. But is it the best way?

It'd be quite enjoyable as a quick "get you off" tool, or practice ... but unless it was terribly realistic and really just a fully formed gynoid, it may as well be a robot whore.

I mean ... I don't have a GF at the moment, but I still have a good number of RL friends despite having a good deal of online-only contacts - who you could for all practical purposes call robot buddies.

I mean ... I love you all, robot buds, but it's just not the full experience, is it? Humans need interaction.

Not to mention that the proper act of lovemaking is one of mutually giving pleasure to the other partner(...s). With the 'bot, it's all me me me. It's a philosophical nightmare and probably quite a useful tool for psychological diagnoses.

So a girlfriend is just for sex huh? A girlfriend is for love, a companion, someone to turn to for support and warmth, not sex.
I do not see the need for a girlfriend. All couples split up eventually, or they resent each other. Besides, I could very well be dead in a few years anyway. Why bother?

You are doing it wrong.
I have tried it. It doesn't do it for me. It's not all it's hyped up to be.

Do you wish me to brief you on the means of your creation?
Let me refrase that so that my meaning is clearer. Sex for pleasure is over-rated.
