I don't like that it's called "romance". It's just a quick dialogue tree that ends in a 12A porkin' scene. OT though, jack was the one to get the large helping of my main's man gravy. In retrospect the sex part of the game was totally unnecessary. It's just so unnatural and robotic. I even felt slightly uncomfortable about the whole thing. Like I was watching a child make two action figures fuck but he only has the rudimentary parts of the process worked out.

Tali, I wanted to see her DAMN FACE!!! I will probably continue it in ME3 for the same reason.

None. My fucking whipped Shepard stayed faithful to Liara. He'll probably hit that in the "Lair Of The Shadow Broker".

Liara for ME1, say what you want but i hate Kaidan and all my Shepards have been Female (Hale's Voice <3).

In 2 i usually either stay true to Liara, or go for Kelly. Although to be honest the best Romance Option in ME2 is Samara. Not because you succeed but how you dont, in that extremely odd Way that everyone has experienced once, because she rejects you and even though its a Game you actually feel that had to hurt.

I'll prolly start over a new Character, i.e. start with 1 and then ME2 and then 3, hence im going to do it once 3 is released or shortly before its to be released. Basicly get through ME1 without Romance, then "Romance" Samara in 2 and then see what ME3 dishes out! :D

I chose Miranda first time, don't know why

lol thats exactly why. that ass is more persuasive than samara's daughter.

OT: for male shepherd, always miranda, tali is too shy and dorky, plus you have no idea whats under that mask...could be a huge vagina with teeth for a face.

for female it was always garrus for a while...but might try thane (didn't know it was possible with him)

Had a feeling about the results. I stayed loyal to Ash with my paragon run, my renegade run femshep will probably not be so loyal.

Male shep stayed true to Ash because he's a nice guy.
Female Shep stayed true to Liara, not because she's nice, but because there was no lesbian option. Oh Jack talks a good game, but when it comes time to play... my metaphor seems to be escaping me.

I've got a bunch of other characters from ME1 that won't get a playthrough of ME2 because the game isn't all that. I mean, it's good enough, just not good enough for me to play through more than twice unlike ME1.

I went with Miranda the first time around, and if I do another playthrough I'll do Tali (no pun intended :( ).

Jack's not bad either, those tattoos :O

Mmmmmmmmmiranda. I'm a butt man and, well, not much needed to be said there. I actually quite liked her character too.

For my "official" Mass Effect playthrough setting up for Mass Effect 3, I won't go for either Ashley or Liara first game, and just go for Tali in ME2. That will avoid...awkward...moments in ME3.

For the upcoming "Lair of the Shadow Broker" DLC though, I'm going to use my Liara-loving Shepard from the first game and then bed Miranda. With Liara on the crew. That's taking awkwardness to 11. Can't wait!

I've seen them all but my choice was none of them. My heart belongs to the one character in the game who's character seemed consistent with the setting: Ashley Williams.

Some may think her a racist. That she may be, but such people never really stop and ask if, in this case, her suspicions were justified. Her Grandfather was the only human who had to surrender to an alien race, a fact that haunted her career up to Eden Prime. Her squad, the soldiers she was supposed to Shepard through battle died at the hands of another group of aliens. She sat and watched as yet another group of aliens ignored a plea for assistance, dismissed evidence of a terrible threat to all, who treated humanity with little more than contempt. Any person in such a situation who continued to implicitly trust the strangers they meet almost certainly has some sort of malfunction in their brain.

That said, if I were going to choose someone from the new game, it would be Miranda. I never did care much for Liara or Tali. In the former case, it would be cruel to both Liara and any future offspring (given that I would die centuries before Liara). In the latter all I was presented was a robot with what I assume were boobs. Worse still the various tissues in our respective bodies would be toxic to the other.

Tali. Best female character from the first one and still the best from the second one.

Wanted her as the romance option playing through the first game god dammit...
