Associating these criminals with WoW is a little silly. They've been around since long before WoW was even a twinkle in Rob Pardo's eye. There are unmoderated (or at least irresponsibly moderated) IRC channels and webgroups based on exactly this sort of encounter. Most people who partake in this sort of thing do so through IRC channels, Facebook, Myspace or MSN.

Hm, I would say death penalty, but he really didn't do anything that would make that even. If he had gotten away with whatever he was trying to do, then he should probably be jailed for a while. And since nothing else is happening in there, he might as well try to get theropy and become a good part of society instead of a WoW player.

I just want to get this clear in my head, we should kill all people with mental problems? Or is it any problem that causes them to act in a way that the people in this thread consider "different". Can we add people with full body tourettes to the list? How about people who think that the death penalty is acceptable for people with mental disorders - they're the sickest of them all...

it does having nothing to do with WoW. If the guy had Wheaties for breakfast you could easily (and foolishly) argue that Wheaties trigger pervation. As far as punishment is concerned, pleading insanity should consider the person far more dangerous.
