I have a large one on my throat. Thankfully, the goatee helps hide it. Got a few on my shoulder that itch sometimes.( I tend to get keloids.) That's annoying. One on my chest from where I nearly had a nipple chewed off by a hound dog when I was four. Have around a dozen on my hands, but they're mostly too faded or small to notice unless you're really looking for them. All in all, I would prefer not to have them.

Meh. Once the story behind the scar's awesomeness wears off, you're stuck with just another scar.

My body is full of scars, got 2 obvious (but not long) ones on the right of my face near my eye (one from when I was a baby and tried fighting a radiator and the other from chasing my brother and trying to jump further than my little legs could carry me).

Rest are from all kinds of things - Fights, chiansaws, sticks, stones, knives, crashes and all other generic scraps and falls.

Each one makes up me I wouldn't give them away for anything.

Plus "Chicks dig scars!"

Unless you got them in an epic battle of some sort, scars are pretty dumb. I have one on the back of my hand that some people think looks pretty sweet, but then I tell them I just scraped it badly on the back of a metal door and then it just loses the allure. I should start telling people I got it in a knife fight or something.

Scars are fine with me. Most of mine are embarrassing. I have one on my leg which I got from cutting myself on a lane line while swimming.

I've got a few, and they all have totally made up interesting stories to go with them.

I've got a scar on my forehead from slamming my head into the corner of the wall when I was 3when I got attacked by a snake.

My favorite is the one on my left hand, going across my middle finger... Damn Ninja's

A buddy of mine has a scar that runs from his hairline, down the center of his eye, and ends at the jawline. Badass I say. If you wonder how, don't let your baby grow up to be a cowboy.

Depends where and how.
Scar over the eye? Badass.
Scar on the knee? Not badass.

I don't have many cool scars. I have one on my face (which I think is nearly gone now) from a fight, and several on my hands from punching walls.
The rest are from friends attacking me or me knocking into things.

most on my hand, I have a pretty bad one on my right middle finger knuckle, from using my punching bag gloveless, broke my punching bag with that, problem is that I think people will look at it thinking that I am some kind of dumbarse that will beat them for nothing, which is true I just want to keep it hidden :p

and a pretty bad burn on my hand from a cookie sheet, but damn those cookies where tasty.

It all depends where the scar is. Around the eyes usually give a person the "bad ass" look. But other places, like the foot are stupid because you probably just got it by stepping on something sharp. Also people won't really notice the foot scar unless you go around showing it off to people, which makes you look more like someone who craves attention

the thing about scars is its less about the actual scar and more about the story behind the scar and any really noticeable scar also brings about an air of mystery or intrigue unless you tell some stupid story to go along with it so in conclusion scars are only as badass as the stories associated with them

Depends on the location and the story.

I have a heap of horizontal marks on my back I got from parkour rolling without a shirt on, they haven't faded in 7 months so I consider them scars for the time being. I think they look kinda cool, I see them as a mark in my training. Sometimes I tell people I got them from fighting a mountain lion on a camping trip, I reduce my arse-kickingness appropriately to make the story slightly believable.

Some have a nice story attached, yes, but legs are covered with scars from extremely bad scratching (a mix of stress and a true allergy, it's no rash or something, just itching) and I rather see those disappear.

I have a scar about half a centimeter from my eye, and on my arm. I don't mind them.

I have never had scars, and never been under general anaesthetic (in fact, i've only ever had local in my mouth...)
