I love my scar. Penknife straight into the side of my pointy finger on my left hand between the thumb and finger bit...Caused a huge ass gash but it didn't hurt at all. The only thing I don't like about it is my old gran tried to fill the gaping wound with savlon.

I got famous at my school (not that hard with only 200 people total) for being the first (and only) kid to cut his finger on the bandsaw.

It can look badass. Depends on what kind of scar and where it came from. Not on me, all I have is a small, barely visible scar on my eyebrow after slamming my head into a door. It doesn't get badass by that kind of story, more like "I defended a child from a bear and he cut my chest with his giant claws." Or "I saved some people from a burning building and I caught on fire.", those are the badass stories. But the scar itself can also make it badass.

Scars are double edged. They can either tell a really awesome story, or prove how stupid you are. I have none in the former category.

My most prominent ones are the burn scars on my left hand. Yes, it involved me and a stove, don't ask.

I've got a nice big scar on my forehead, I don't really mention how I got it but it does make a good conversation starter as it's pretty hard to miss it.

Eh, I figure mine give me character. Well, ok, the chicken pox scar above my eyebrow maybe not, but the others are various levels of interesting.

I have one on the top of my head from where I hit Margo Schreiber's teeth while she was pushing me on the swing. I have one on my upper lip from where I fell while running home (faceplanted on the sidewalk, put my bottom teeth through my upper lip). I have one on my inner arm from a dog bite, I have one on my other inner arm from a hot cookie sheet. I have a teeny tiny one that you can't really see, can only feel on my finger from a snake bite.

A few more here and there. Hard to go through life without getting at least a few scars.
Exactly. A person without any scars hasn't lived an interesting life.

I have a scar just below my lower lip, which was given to me by a ninja assassin. Obviously, I'm the one who lived.

I also have scars on both knee caps, left shoulder, forearm, wrist and knuckles from a brutal fight with a pair of grizzly bears who were trying to devour a beautiful damsel. Despite killing both bears bare handed and saving her, she ran off before I could get her number. =(

I hate my scars as the only ones I have are from when moles were removed.
Go out and do something dangerous! Earn some scars.

I have a little one under my left eye, and a long one on my shoulder and back.

The eye one looks good, so yeah, I like them.

i have a series of curious scars across my back. i have absolutely no idea how any of them got there, i just randomly found them one day.

those are the only scars i have that can really be seen though. i have a very pale complexion, and most of my scars are the same colour. just not the ones on my back...

I've got such a collection of them, some of which i'm fairly proud of. Best ones, by far, are the numerous little ones all over my right hand from punching through a guy's car window once. Hurt like hell at the time, but was totally worth it to get to the bastard.

Scars show your history. I would hate to remain umblemished for life but I would never scar myself on purpose. Saying that, I apply zinc oxide to my scars daily and it does help them fade.

The one large scar I have is from an old swimming pool accident, and runs from about 3 inches above my left knee to about 3 inches below it.
It doesn't look very badass, just a 1/5th of an inch wide band of paler flesh.

I like scars. They're bad ass. But the one I have isn't. I got it when I was four and I prefer not to say where I got it (I don't even know if it's still there anymore).

I didn't mind the small number of scars I had, until one week I made three cuts on my forearm. I definitely think they're annoying because sometimes now they're all I can think about. =\

I've got this badass scar on my leg from a rusty screw slashing it, and I've got one on my wrist (not the part that emos cut, more like on the back of my hand) from a piece of glass that I accidentally got cut by when I was a kid.

My left side has suffered all of the scars on my body:

-Boxcutter in my hand, near the knuckle of my index finger. I hit a vein so I bled like a pig.
-Saw almost right next to it. No veins this time. I remember seeing white flesh after getting the cut that started bleeding slowly.
-A round burn on my thumb I got after a drop of molten plastic got on it. It hardened immediately so I could just peel it off, but it took some skin too.
-Dogbite in my left wrist. I startled a dog when I tried to pet it. It was just a snap but I have a few dots left from the fangs.
-A jagged scar near my elbow I got from falling of my bike in rainy weather. The problem was that the sleeve of my leather jacket had a zipper right on that spot. Its what teared my arm opne when I fell on it.

Scars can be pretty bad-ass. Im especially intrigued by facial scars like the one Guy Ritchie has. (croner of his mouth to his ear.) At first glance it looks like some sort of criminal reckoning. Like franky four fingers in snatch. (his ringfinger is missing, obviously because of a gambling debt.) I also know a guy who has almost the same. He's got a very long scar running from his chin to his ear along his jawline. He said he was attacked with a boxcutter in a fight outside of a club.
