Poll: Shoes! Laces, zips, velcro ,buckles or nothing!

Laces or Slip-Ons. Everything else looks fifth grade as fuck.

I like laces. I've never had one break, they rarely come undone (I double knot), and they almost never get wet (if they're dragging on the ground then they're too long, and if the whole shoe gets wet then the whole damn shoe is wet). Laces work just fine for me.

They get undone? - You're tying a granny knot.

I clicked this out of curiousity and now know that I've been tying "granny knots" my whole life. I'm going to have some stern words with my parents about this.

I've got five pairs of assorted laced footwear and a pair of leather boots with buckles. I generally prefer laces. Those boots have about eight buckles each. Takes twenty minutes to get the damn things on right. I haven't owned Velcro anything since elementary school.

In theory i prefer nothing, though practically all quality leather boots have string, including the ones i use which are too short for grim subarctic winter
