If anything men should shave around their 'man' areas, especially if thy expect us to venture down there. Grizzly facial hair is hot. Otherwise I don't think it's necessary.

(PS- Does ANYONE shave their arms? I swear that's just un-natural.)

It's been shown the people in general find a hairless chest to be more attractive than a caveman. To be honest as long as the girl and myself are happy with either way I don't really mind. It saves effort on my part if I don't have to, however XD

Where's the "it's their own decision" option.

Do what you're comfortable with. They're your legs and I've never heard of women ever finding shaven legs attractive, so I'd bet it's a joke more than anything.

Again, I can't reinforce enough do what you like. I personally don't like my body hair, but thankfully I don't get much. My leg-hair is the most, but it's fine. Anything I don't like, however, gets promptly trimmed to a point I like it. I don't see what all the fuss is about; why does trimming hair suddenly become a bad thing? I find it more comfortable both physically and for the sake of my own confidence and it's doing no harm to myself and others and couldn't possibly offend anyone.

...Chick?

Seriously?

EDIT - Also, bear in mind that if you're trying to shave/not shave for the sake of trying to impress women in general, while most women's tastes in men are painfully cliché, body-hair seems to be a bit of an exception. Most women I know really couldn't care.

I won't. I'll trim my nether regions, and I'll shave facial hair, but I'm not shaving my legs or arms or pits. Because:

a) too much work.
b) it's gay (sorry if that's not PC).

That said, if some wants to shave himself, then whatever, but he should know that someone (probably me) will make fun of him at some point.

I've been told that the shaving of the crotch makes the appendage appear proportionally larger.

But unless you swim or road cycle, no.
This is probably true, but I have been told it itches like hell when they start to grow back, and will continue to do so untill their back to what they were like before they were cut.

Is that a price worth paying?

And to be honest I don't think guys should shave legs etc. If you wana get rid of excessive body hair, wax. Ya don't have to do it like every other day :p

Ive toyed with this idea as I have body hair in places I really don't want it, but none in other places :S Plus In a lapse of manhood I allowed a portion of my leg to be waxed once, and it felt really nice afterwards...

Overall though, I doubt I'll be getting rid of my body hair anytime soon.

how to put this, hmmm... oh yes! girls, you are the ones who decide "oh, i'm gonna shave my legs". no one is forcing you. there is nobody with a knife at your throat saying shave now or else. if you were forced, i might sympathize. as is, this issue is just pathetic. men can choose to shave or not. dont force your opinions upon other people, that is called totalitarianism.

I actually have more heterosexual friends that shave their legs than homosexual friends, if that's the big concern with you.

actually it started back with the Egyptians or before them. the Romans and Greeks both liked to shave off body hair as well
Ah yes. Which is where Western culture got it from.

I shave my shoulders, but that's because having hair on my shoulders is just... weird.

Men shouldn't shave, and in fact neither should women. All that body hair is there for a good practical reason, it's to absorb toxins released when you sweat.
