Why should it be illegal for a 13 year old boy to look at nude 13 year old girls? Like I've said in my previous post, punish the ones that forced the girls to pose nude if there are any. If not, then there's really no problem here.
Its illegal, because the fucking law states its illegal, im not condeming the 13 year old boy, but he/his family could get into a shitload of trouble for this.

Please consider thinking logically.
Then the fucking law is bullshit and should be changed.

All I know is, that I've always liked girls the same age as me.

Is someone really going to tell me there's somtheing wrong with that?

It would be far too time consuming for a goverment to track down wether a 13 year old or a 40 year old is looking at illegal content ¬.¬ He is gonna be 16 in 3 years anyway, he best look at normal porn. Also maybe he doesnt exactly have an idea if this thing is wrong.
Because it's not wrong. Or in your opinion is looking at girls the same age as yourself wrong? And still, the law is bullshit. You can't track down everyone so you're going to make everyone who looks, regardless of age, a criminal? Again, bullshit.

The moral question: No, not fully. A slap on the wrist, explanation on why it's wrong and that's it.

On a side note: I'd ground him after that for looking up porn, because he's to young to be looking at it anyway.

Of course he should be punished. Sorry, but he's gone out of his way to look for girls that are thirteen, despite the copious amounts of hot 18 year olds available. At 13 I took whatever I could get. I had like an old early 90's mag (it was pretty awful), and that did me just fine. In fact, it was pretty incredible at the time. This kid is showing serious INTENT by purposefully looking for underage girls online. Besides that, in this country, it is Illegal to view ANY porn under 18. So he's breaking the law. Full stop.

However, he would be tried as minor, and should not be put on a sex offenders register or anything like that. I'm not sure under 18's even can be put on a sex offenders register, unless they do something REALLY serious, like rape. Even then, I'm not sure on the protocol.

The person who took the images and hosted them should be punished worse. In this day and age, it seems stupid that we can't track the sources of this abuse.

No he isn´t. Most people hit puberty at around 12-13. That´s when you begin wanting to have sex. 8-10 is way to young, but 13? No, just no.

I did the same thing at the age of 15 and I didn't know back then it was illegal.
Imo, I think the kid should just be warned that when he turns 18 this kind of stuff will be considered illegal and everyone will be on his back for watching "child" porn.

If he managed to procure it, he had to look for it and obtain it by illegal means. So yes, he's a criminal. It's also rather disturbing that he's not attracted to developed women, as most males with an active sex drive tend to be. I won't get into the morality of it, but the fact remains that if a kid has child porn, he deliberately sought it out (unless you happen to know of an easy-to-stumble-upon public site that just happens to distribute it willy-nilly, and no, the one you're thinking of doesn't actually qualify).

No need for punishment.
I swear its 18 0_o
Hu, sure it is 15 over here.
OT; No since he is browsing girls his age I don't see any problem with that. But if the government saw what the users of that computer been up to I can see if they get punished since it might just as well been some 30 year old perv that was doing it.

Wow.. It's against the law to fap when you're 13? Shit.. Guess I've had a criminal record since I hit double-digits.

BTW it's 18 and if he was to go looking for porn I'm pretty sure- him being 13 -he would want to look at girls his own age. Sure it's bad but who cares.

I seriously doubt he would fall under the reasonable state of mind it would require to charge him as an adult. Regardless, those laws are there to punish adults who victimise or support the victimisation of children.

Still, I'd be curious as to where he got it and made sure he knew this sort of thing was problematic. And if the source was an adult, probably get very very violent.

No need for punishment.

But he should know the law.

EDIT: illegal to brose nude girls below age of 18
This, exactly this.

I also think adding on that the next time he does it he will be grounded and privileges will be taken away, TV, video games, etc...

This doesn't make that much sense.

Anyway, yeah. Someone should EXPLAIN to him instead of "UPP! UPPPP!!! GET IN THE CORNER!"
So, we meet again Minimacker. Long time, no see.
