For me it's rather simulator of mentally disabled than true horror. Is it worth buying, playing ? Yes, if you like playing with heavy disadvantages.

My friends and I just finished the game after buying a month and a half ago and it was really fun. The reason it took so long is we kept making excuses not to play it because, I don't know if you know this, but it's REALLY scary >.>

If you like horror games, then yes, you should've bought it yesterday.
I know some people don't think it's scary, but I was shaking like a leaf half-way through the game and had to stop. XD If nothing else, I really liked the story too, even if it is vague.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes! This game is awesome. Even if it doesn't scare you shitless, it is still a great game and you should support the developer. I've already purchased it for like 5 friends just to spread its awesome.

Seriously, guys, i understand that there are some strong moments in Amnesia, but that's only because of protagonist's character. If it's ok with you, then so be it - i am simply not afraid of things i've sent to hell countless times in other games. I refuse to be scared to death by some ghost, ghoul or un-dead something.
Yes. Its an immersive game with a genuinely scary atmosphere. It keeps you on edge all the time and takes you interesting places. It does some crazy stuff that you probably won't see much elsewhere and its going for really damn cheap. I had a hell of a time with this game, so yes, I would very strongly recommend it to anyone.

Yes, it's a great game, just be sure to buy a few packages of diapers before you play it, because you're going to need them.
Get it, it's great, scariest game I've ever played, lots of fun, it's £2.60 thats literally the cost of a return bus ticket where I live.

Yes. I bought it full price when it came out so you have no excuse not to get it on sale. It's honestly the best survival horror game I've ever played. I guarantee at least one point in gameplay you will have to talk yourself out of a hiding place only to have the piss scared out of you.
I'd say yes, buy it, just to support an amazing small indie developer, but at the same time, I'd say no, because this game is certainly not for everyone. Yes, this game has a reputaton of coloring your underwear a strange combination of yellow and brown and that's the very reason I'd say no. But, also it's very cheap, I bought the game last year when it was discounted to $10, at $4, you can't go wrong with this game.
If you like scary games, then by all means buy it, but just be warned that this game is really scary.
