Indeed, and I for one have huge sympathies for paedophiles who haven't molested children. I feel pretty sorry for them in the way that they have a sexual orientation (meaning it's just like being heterosexual or homosexual) which society can't afford to permit ever happening, due to the fact that children can't be expected to make a decision of having sex (just like children can't be expected to make the decision of taking a loan at the bank or starting a business).Gilbert Munch said:It's a sad, but true fact. It's not their fault for being what they are, they have no more power over it than we have over our own sexual orientation. And while I certainly agree that steps need to be taken with those paedophiles who goes fourth and do molest children, I have a hard time seeing them as "monsters" that should automatically be put to death. Any steps taken against their sexual orientation should be prioritizing making society safer first and foremost, and not function as "punishment" for a person who are afflicted with something they can't even control.
