To be honest, I don't think the last couple Sonic games were that bad. I mean, they were lame and cheesy, and full of glitches, but I actually had fun playing them.. >< And Unleashed was great aside from the Werehog. There were less characters, and the day time levels were tons of fun. ^^;; The whole 3D series isn't that bad, and all you 2D fanboys should realized that Sonic games are kids games. Kids are less likely to play a 2D sidescroller then something in 3D. Thus, SEGA makes money.

I think they should probably just purge whoever the fuck keeps making these games and replace them with actual GOOD designers. I mean, even bioware was able to make a half decent sonic game, although bioware is actually a good game company. I don't think i need to remind you all of the horror of the shadow the hedgehog game, which was the sonic saga's equivalent to the E.T game.
My point is, they should just fire and get rid of all the bloody idiots making the games and replace them with actually good and capable designers who will actually listen and change there ways if a large percentage doesn't like the game.

Sega refuses to give Sonic the burial he so desperately requires. Instead they force the undead hedgehog to carry on with their moneymilker-infested ideas.
I want to put him to rest so much, so he won't have to suffer this for the rest of his undead unlife.

There is still potential in it for a 3d game. We just need what made the old ones great such as multiple paths, the ability to speedrun the levels, badniks instead of government robots or whatever and maybe for some 2d nostalgia they could make no one able to speak like in the old games. Also the 8 hits and the boss is dead rule and take away crates as they seem to slow down the game play so much.
