There's an old saying in the writing game: Stick to what you know. Bethesda is an east-coast developer, Obsidian a west-coast developer. Trying to sum up other culture's responses through any kind of lens is always rife for criticism.bruggs said:But american culture has found its way everywhere. I think an outsider's perspective could be fresh and interesting, but still feel a lot like Fallout.
Hey don't forget the BoS and their long trek across all of America and complete change of beliefs, society and objective.Ultratwinkie said:Bethesda took random things, but didn't bother checking what they were.
"OH GREEN STUFF! ADD THAT."
"OH ENCLAVE! ADD THAT!"
1. FEV was at mariposa/West Tek ONLY. Order by the US government itself.
2. The Enclave had only the oil rig and navarro.
3. Super mutants shouldn't exist if FEV isn't even in DC.
Well it is China; The new fallout could poke fun at China in there effort to copy everything. Instead of Vaults they might be called...Volan said:It would be really interesting to see the "opposite" side to the war. The characters would have to almost solely be Chinese though - there wouldn't be many immigrants, unless over the 200 + years some survivors have wandered into the area looking for a nicer/safer region. And what would their "vaults" or whichever be like? Assuming that they had their very own organization like Vault-Tec.Fox KITSUNE said:i'd love to see how China fared in the Fallout Universe; would also make for some interesting stories and DLC.
If not China then the Annexed Canada.
Otherwise, considering the war, it wouldn't make much sense to switch to another region - but perhaps the war affected other regions, and Vault-Tec branched out to surrounding allied countries, such as Europe or Australia and New Zealand.
Fallout: Canada? Oh, please. That's just silly.TonyCapa said:I agree with this guy. Fallout 4: Canada seems like the best Fallout game ever. I'm tired of it always being in America. I wanna see the aftermath of someone bombing the hell out of my home and native land.Fox KITSUNE said:i'd love to see how China fared in the Fallout Universe; would also make for some interesting stories and DLC.

I retract my previous statement. Fallout: Canada all the way.TonyCapa said:But there has to be giant moose in it...30 foot moose.
To hell with that make it the Brotherhood vs the Enclave. There is suppose to be a massive hub vault in Abilene that the Brotherhood has control of.TheDooD said:In a new fallout I hope it'll take place in Texas with NCR vs Enclave
But a lot of Team America is set outside America, and that is the point of it.TheFloBros said:Fallout is about AMERICA. To me that's like saying "Should they make a Team America movie about Europeans?"
Michigan is half way there. Ever been to Detroit? Flint? Saginaw? They all look like bombs have gone off a long time ago.Javarock said:Can't hold this back, Personally I Hope to god that never happens.Destro160 said:my vote would be to go to japan in maybe a pseudo feudal/advanced age feel.
Anyways, I don't think it would happen?, I Mean I could see perhaps Canada, Or Mexico. But wasn't there something about America only having the vaults?. While at the same time I would love to see a fallout in Ireland. But, More realistically I would like to see it go further north, Into Canada or along the border states, Washington, Northren Idaho, Montana, North Dakota Minnesota (Twin Citys?) Wisconsin, Michigan... Ect...
