He said he wants it to taste better? Well, plastic glasses don't make it taste better. But that's just me. But yes, we should do what we can to stop the bar fights. Of course, then they're gonna use the chairs more.

No, the government already treats us like three year olds. The poppies were velcro the other day for fuck sake. They'd only find something else to throw, like a chair.

We shouldnt do anything, glassing people is a natural tradition of pubs for hundreds of years, and after all, if you cant uphold traditions, your no better than a foreign tourist.

Hahhahahaahahahaa Fuck no.
It's pathetic enough when I get handed a plastic cup with me beverage in, they are squidgy, don't feel right and defiantly take away from the whole consuming experience which is overpriced as it is. Don't lower the quality as well.

I think they should just use plastic. As I have the scars to prove why drunks and glass do not mix. And no I was NOT the drunk.

No I like to have good beer from Glass Cups plastic and metal takes away from the Flavor if you ask me. On a side note I don't think I ever seen a glass used in a fight at a bar where I am from.

Even though I prefer to drink from glass, I really don't care if Budweiser or PBR taste a bit off because it's in plastic.
Both of those beers are bad regardless of what they're served in.

OT: It really won't matter, because if someone wants to start a fight when they're drunk, they're going to do it with or without a glass cup.

I don't think banning it will have any effect at all. Those drunk people just take the nearst object and bludgeon/cut people anyway.

I think we should just ban everything pointy or heavy, just to be safe.
this and nail the dam stools to the floor. Put styrofoam on all pointy objects (pool cues) and then switch the balls to sock em boppers and they can use the dam floor for their game. take away the pool cues those can be broken and used as weapons as well....Close the bars its cheaper to drink at home....

It doesn't matter what day of the week it is, you can still get glassed by any random dumbfuck. I've never noticed a difference of taste when using plastic so I guess for the saftey of others I would prefer plastic glasses are used. It's not worth one persons face/eyesight to have glass in pubs/clubs.

Won't happen here in the States, thankfully. A huge majority of the people have the sense to not throw a glass in someone else's face, probably near 99.9999999% of the public wouldn't do dumbfuck shit like that. I'd be pretty pissed if we were only given shitty plastic mugs or cups to drink with in the bars. It's like they have to take every thing away just because of a single moron...

If we can't trust people with goddamn glasses, replacing them with plastic isn't going to solve much.

Don't replace at all! the protectionist law makers will come up with some other bullshit to ban. England already invited the anti-stab knife i swear it's going to wind up like 1984 if they keep this crap up.
