Differing opinions is healthy, it'd be pretty boring if everyone i was friends with agreed on everything.
However actively hating someone or a particular group, and wishing death upon them is unacceptable.
Would you be friends with Hitler just because he was nice to YOU personally?
Sensationalist hyperbole aside, how you act towards other people pretty much defines you as a person, so yes that should definatly be something that is taken into account when deciding who you want as a friend
