I don't really see why. Firstly it's f2p, so everybody who really wants to know what it's like can try it out for free and secondly, it's a pretty shallow game with not much to talk about.

It has national, international, and world championships every year and tournaments in every major game convention.AD-Stu said:You know exactly what a Yahtzee review of the game would be like. If, as you say, this game has "more players and media coverage than any other" (I have no idea if that's true or not, but I suspect not - I've never played it and barely heard of it) then why does it need one more comedy "review" that would almost certainly be overwhelmingly negative?
No offense but just because you don't follow these things doesn't meant they aren't relevant. League of Legends may not be a household name but among millions upon millions of people play it every day. Also the main reason I'm interested in Yahtzee's review of this is because, unlike you clearly, I don't just watch them because they make me laugh. I watch them because they have pertinent things to say about the games that don't follow the usual "9/10 stars!" rigmarole, instead they break down the game piece by piece. If you listen in between the snark and sarcasm he really does a good job of breaking down what is good and bad about the game.
Also, I know you likely don't care, but it is in fact the Most Played Online PC Game currently. That's not my words that's statistics. It clocked almost 1.3 billion hours played in six months, over twice what WoW had which was the next runner up.

and yes, that is Forbes magazine.
And I suppose the 1998 hit Half-Life is?hazabaza1 said:Not released recent enough to be relevant
I never knew the Warcraft DotA (back then I probably still had no internet lol) but LoL is no worse than your regular FPS.Vivi22 said:If the LoL community is anything like the DotA community for Warcraft 3 then I would say yes, they'd be worse than any FPS I've ever played.
Couldn't. Couldn't care less.Chased said:I have a gut feeling that Yahtzee could care less about League so he's just reviewing games that interest him in some way (whether it be positive or negative). I could see Yahtzee maybe reviewing DotA 2 but then again I'm not even sure if he reviews F2P games.
Though I don't play League I would certainly be interested in what he has to say.
The old games that he has done are generally games from his past that he's enjoyed and felt like explaining why he thought they were so good.ElPatron said:And I suppose the 1998 hit Half-Life is?hazabaza1 said:Not released recent enough to be relevant
bam, this.hazabaza1 said:Not released recent enough to be relevant and he hates dislikes multiplayer. Nope.
30 at most, sometimes I swear I get a match before I even click "Play."Andrewtheeviscerator said:Who told you that? it only takes me about 30 secs to find a game.DJ_DEnM said:I feel it'd be something like the Final Fantasy XIII review: He's not gonna have enough time to fully judge. From what I hear the LoL queue to join a game is long. But yeah, I don't feel he'd review it anyway.
