I don't really see why. Firstly it's f2p, so everybody who really wants to know what it's like can try it out for free and secondly, it's a pretty shallow game with not much to talk about.

It's a multiplayer game, he wouldn't give it a fair try and his reviews are always at their worst when he he hates the game too much to even try getting through them.

Honestly, I enjoy LoL casually (yes, it is possible). However, I would also enjoy watching Yahtzee tear it to shreds.

However I don't know that I would want to inflict that game on him. He's already full of bile and hatred. Yahtzee reviewing LoL would be like adding radioactive waste to a nuclear detonation in the atmosphere. It would be impressive, but the fallout...

You know exactly what a Yahtzee review of the game would be like. If, as you say, this game has "more players and media coverage than any other" (I have no idea if that's true or not, but I suspect not - I've never played it and barely heard of it) then why does it need one more comedy "review" that would almost certainly be overwhelmingly negative?
It's not the NFL but League of Legends has supplanted Starcraft and Starcraft II as the most played game in Korea. It has national, international, and world championships every year and tournaments in every major game convention.

No offense but just because you don't follow these things doesn't meant they aren't relevant. League of Legends may not be a household name but among millions upon millions of people play it every day. Also the main reason I'm interested in Yahtzee's review of this is because, unlike you clearly, I don't just watch them because they make me laugh. I watch them because they have pertinent things to say about the games that don't follow the usual "9/10 stars!" rigmarole, instead they break down the game piece by piece. If you listen in between the snark and sarcasm he really does a good job of breaking down what is good and bad about the game.

Also, I know you likely don't care, but it is in fact the Most Played Online PC Game currently. That's not my words that's statistics. It clocked almost 1.3 billion hours played in six months, over twice what WoW had which was the next runner up.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/johngaudiosi/2012/07/11/riot-games-league-of-legends-officially-becomes-most-played-pc-game-in-the-world/

and yes, that is Forbes magazine.
Hours =/= Players
US/EU =/= World
And not everyone uses Xfire so those statistics mean nothing.
Also he didnt review Starcraft II when it came out for similar reasons.

It would be a very odd review but he couldn't really do a review of it because of the amount of characters, the horrible community behind it, and the difference in skill levels between SLs 1 and 30.

he should review things he can say funny stuff about , its not like you can tell if he likes a game or not half the time.

Although his disdain for anything multiplayer and refusal to play multiplayer might lead to an interesting perspective on it

I don't think he'd see the worst of the community since they all seem to be at the higher levels

Yes, because it'd be hilarious.

But really, he should review what he wants for his show. People badgering him got a pretty hostile review last time.

That's asking him to review a game that is just multiplayer and hang around screaming nerds.

He would hate it so much it wouldn't even be entertaining. He would probably just upload a video of him hanging himself.

And I suppose the 1998 hit Half-Life is?

If the LoL community is anything like the DotA community for Warcraft 3 then I would say yes, they'd be worse than any FPS I've ever played.
I never knew the Warcraft DotA (back then I probably still had no internet lol) but LoL is no worse than your regular FPS.

However I have heard bad things about the HoN community, and I suppose it's because LoL's difficulty curve isn't a 90º angle with the X axis.

I have a gut feeling that Yahtzee could care less about League so he's just reviewing games that interest him in some way (whether it be positive or negative). I could see Yahtzee maybe reviewing DotA 2 but then again I'm not even sure if he reviews F2P games.

Though I don't play League I would certainly be interested in what he has to say.
Couldn't. Couldn't care less.

OT: Yahtzee hates multi-player and thinks games should be able to stand on their single-player components. Last I heard, LoL didn't have a single-player component and has a community full of some of the most frustrating, antagonistic bags of dicks that you'd never meet in reality. Chances are it wouldn't exactly get a glowing review.

I'm not against him doing a review of a MOBA game but he shouldn't do it just because we want him to. It would be boring for him and us if he's just ripping in to it because we want to hear him do that.

And I don't think the dichotomy between PC and console is really very valid. It's more split up than that because of the different consoles. Maybe PS3 and 360 could go together since they do pretty much the same thing, but it's not simply a PC vs. console scenario. And even if it was, why would that mean Yahtzee should review more PC games? He can review whatever he likes on whatever platform. I don't think he gives a damn about how many PC vs. console reviews he's done either.

Maybe he will do a MOBA review, maybe not. But whether he does will have nothing to do with whether we want him to or whether his reviews more often cover console games. He'll write a review if he thinks he's got enough relevant and amusing things to say about it. If he does, then great. If not then I'd rather he didn't bother, and I'm sure he wouldn't either.

The old games that he has done are generally games from his past that he's enjoyed and felt like explaining why he thought they were so good.
The only exception to this I can think of is Castlevania: SoTN but even then he was playing the XBLA re-release.

I could be wrong, but I thought Yahtzee hated multiplayer...
Actually, scratch that, I KNOW he hates multiplayer.

Let me give you his review in breif: *Ahem* 'I hate multiplayer and random gamers *4 minutes of swearing*'

Yahtzee hates mutyiplayr stuff most of the time and this is only a multipalyer game. His review is just going to be a retread over how its bad.

The chances of Yahtzee playing, let alone liking that game are about as slim as:

(A): Him liking Darksiders 2.

(B): Him selling his hat.

(C): Me being hired on both this and That Guy With The Glasses.Com

I feel it'd be something like the Final Fantasy XIII review: He's not gonna have enough time to fully judge. From what I hear the LoL queue to join a game is long. But yeah, I don't feel he'd review it anyway.
Who told you that? it only takes me about 30 secs to find a game.
30 at most, sometimes I swear I get a match before I even click "Play."

I don't know why I play it though, I hate the game and I always just rage quit in the middle of the game, furious.

I would like to see that. It would be excellent entertainment, all of that rage and all of those creative insults.

It would be fun to see IF he chooses to do it on his own accord, but we all know that wont happen.
Admittedly in an alternate universe, he would review the game by giving some very good laughs then go nuke their office for making a game that breeds twats on the fly.
