While I am not really interested in Skyrim, It would probably be better in this thread if you told us what PC you have. I mean, if you are running a pentium with an nVidia 8300 GS then definately not. But if you are running an i5 2500k overclocked @ 4.0ghz with a couple of ATI 6870's in SLI then that would be a no brainer, because of mods and how much money you probably put into the machine.

Well I'm getting it for Xbox because on my computer it would look like shit. Also I like to use a controller, never got used to keyboard and mouse gaming. However if you like PC gaming and your computer can handle the graphics then yeah, get the PC version.

If your PC can run it, then get it on PC. I had this same debate going a while ago. It's just the best way to go. Like everybody has been saying mod content is worth it. Even if there are tons of shitty mods, the good ones are AMAZING.

If you need more convincing google "Nehrim" it's an Oblivion mod that made me buy Oblivion for PC despite already having it for Xbox. I'm not making the same mistake again. PC all the way.

PC for the mods. Bethesda wants to make community mods available to console owners, but Microsoft and Sony would probably charge for every download.

Everyone mentioned mods, so I'd also like to mention superior loading times. Get it for PC.

Personally i am buying it for xbox, seeing as my pc isn't even good enough to run it, i think if you have a top of a line pc you should look into buying it on pc, mainly for mods, but i find i like a controller anyways. Also one last point i think skyrim is ported to pc from xbox? idk

PC. The game will simply run smoother and look better. Game details such as seeing further etc will also be enhanced.
Games are being lowered for consoles like BF3's maps will be smaller because it won't run as well on the console if the maps are as big as the maps on PC.

There will be mods on the xbox. But in 5 years, skyrim will still be actively modded on the PC and total conversion mods will abound. I somewhat suspect the modding for the console community will be more restricted (as much to prevent titty mods as anything else). They are going to prevent the titty mods, right? I mean, imagine the outcry.

You can mod Oblivion out into entirely new games now.

Go pc.

As a bonus, as your pc is improved, so too can your copy of skyrim run at higher graphics levels. The xbox version will always look like its running on an old pc.

You should only play it on PC. It's Brutal Peanut? approved.

You don't want to disappoint Brutal Peanut?, do you?

PC.
Why?

Mods, Better Graphics, Better Controls, Cheaper and Basically better at anything.
I swear if I had a pound for every time that picture came up I would be a very rich man. That being said PC for mods and better loading times, if your computers decent. If not you could get s graphics card that could handle skyrim for £65 these days and Ram is cheap too.

Or just get it for console, it should be good regardless.

Does this need a poll?

Pc, Obviously. Not buying this for PC means you don't plan on loving the game.

If your PC is strong, and I mean REALLY fucking strong, then buy Skyrim for your computer. Assuming you can handle it, you'll just get a better package out of the PC version. The graphics are better, the control is smoother, and you have access to mods, some of which may considerably improve the game(But be careful, some of them can break the game to. Always look in the comments section and read the description thoroughly, make sure the mod won't conflict with other mods, and that it's properly working. It will also be useful to know how to remove it without damaging the game, if you don't know how, keep a backup of the game folder(which you should do anyway). At least, that's how it worked with Oblivion)

On the other hand, if your PC can't run Skyrim on max or at least relatively high settings, then you'd be better of with the consoles increased stability. If you can't run the base game at it's best without a problem, then you won't be able to take advantage of mods beyond the occasional new weapon, and the game won't look as impressive as it would on the console.

If you've got a monster PC or feel like shelling out the cash for one, then get Skyrim on PC and enjoy the world of modding. If you don't have one and don't feel like blowing a few hundred bucks, then it's not worth the hassle it's going to take to get the damn thing running smoothly.

Pc.
Because of mods.

I'm not gonna do the same thing as with Oblivion and end up buying 2 copies.

i'm not voting, because you need an extra option, which will be what everybody chooses: PC, but if your specs aren't high enough, then xbox. i'm doing that, but with my ps3.

PC, Because there is a %90 chance of "just better in every single way" about that version... of any game.
