There is actually a way to mountain climb. run/jog (without the sprint button pressed) towards steep inclines, and while pushing forward, run from side to side, pressing the jump button rapidly. It becomes old, but you trick the character into abusing rough surfacs he should be sliding down into thinking you have a foot hold, and you sometimes jump a bit higher. It sounds tedious, but doesn't take that longDenamic said:What would you do?
I myself have yet to go from point A to B without making at least 4 detours.
I just can't help myself.
Especially now that I've picked up alchemy.
I now have to pick every plant, and insect, that I see as well.
Yep, seems horses are some of the best hikers in Skyrim. Just keep pressing jump and you will always get over that mountain!Best of the 3 said:![]()
Plenty of that.
Also, probably searching through the caves / ruins etc. They're pretty interesting, a hell of a lot more than Oblivion's anyway.
I do that exact same thing myself, every fucking time.hazabaza1 said:I just jump into the mountain until I find a bit that lets me jump.
It works occasionally!
I just go over it. Odds are that either there's a dragon/lootable location at the top of it or I'm going to be able to see them from there.Denamic said:What would you do?

i routinely run around spamming 'e' to collect anything i bump into and jumping over pebbles to optimize my velocity from a to bDenamic said:What would you do?

I don't like to metagame, so I like to find special armor, and named weapons.Zarmi said:This. So much this. Seeing as the best gear in the game is the Daedric outfit when enhanced properly and enchanted properly. As soon as I learned that and figured I already had the best gear the game had to offer, my interest in the game went straight down. Done with most quests, so don't see a reason to keep playing when I can't improve SOMEHOW.oplinger said:It also doesn't help that I know I won't find any cool special weapons.
But, I usually try to find a shortcut around it if possible. The mountain, that is.
