Lucario forever, love the whole aura thing, makes for some really close stand offs as it raises the stakes every hit, also the counter and projectiles make him a really balanced characcter. you can also jump into a group who are fighting, counter and hit all of them with the teleporting kick.

It also really pisses people off that his reach increases as he powers up, making him hard to fight. wish he had some kill moves though, he seems to dish out damage but rarely delivers the final blow.

Neither. Mewtwo was far too floaty, and Lucario was useless until you took enough damage for Aura to kick in.

[HEADING=2]Sheik! I choose you![/HEADING]

That picture of Sheik is so very obviously a female... how can anyone confuse Sheik for a guy?
Mostly because TLOZ series lacks any kind of strong male support role for the inevitable rabid fangirls to write yaoi fanfiction about.

Ergo, they've gotten it into their heads that Zelda turns into a man when she transforms, instead of, you know, just being disguised as a man.

All because they want a dude to have sex with Link.

Like Yaoi? Fine, I'm not here to judge, but don't try and use flawed logic as to why Sheik is not a woman.
But didn't part of the dialogue in OoT clearly say "he" or "a man" or whatever at some point when adressing Sheik? Maybe Zelda was just playing of the first impression androgynity(not sure if that's a word) of her transformation, i don't know...

Anyways: I want Mewtwo back. Though i would want him to move about a little differently. He felt like he was moving around with some really slow no_clip on the last time around. I liked his moveset though(and no it's not entirely the same as Lucario's. Unlike Capt. Falcon and Ganondorf)
Yes. Because she was disguised as a man

Of course the dialogue is going to say 'he' and 'him' if everyone believes Sheik to be a dude.

Still doesn't change the fact that it was Zelda in disguise.
That's what i told all those other people too. Just wanted to try and shed some light on why so many people think Sheik is actually a dude. I mean, listen to the voice, movement and facial structure of the character and it becomes pretty clear that it's gotta be a woman. Plus she didn't really cut her hair either she just put it back into that braid thing.

Well they updated her appearance for Brawl. In Melee, you could be forgiven for thinking Sheik was a man, until you saw the way she moved and sounded. A lot of her moves have a feminine touch, so there's really no excuse for thinking Sheik is anything but a woman.

Fangirls are persistent buggers though.

Lucario has my favorite moveset in Brawl. By far.
It's simple, clean but with some utility, tricks and no gimmicky movement physics; kind of like Mario. Oh, and the Hadoken and Shinkou (sp) Hadoken knockoffs. Love em.

Mewtwo floats and skids like a fucking hockey puck. It's be cool if we could actually get him without the whole "I have legs, that's why I float everywhere" gimmick because his moveset is (conceptually) pretty fun.

I'm a Marth player, straight up.
Like everyone and their brother who played Melee...either him or Fox/Falco/Sheik.
I only comment on this because I see "I main Marth" so often. At this juncture, it's hard to say who was an actual hardcore-Marth player, and who just used Marth because he was broken/free kills.

But I'm with you on Blaziken; if we get a roundhouse kickin' chicken, count me in.

Lucario. One of my better characters, and who I think is pretty awesome. And who lets me use the battlecry "I don't need aura to kill you...!" Also, killing people with Double Team is hilarious.

I really wanted to miss Mewtwo, but after going back to Melee and feeling how awkward he was, I don't as much anymore. Confusion offended me by not hitting opponents with reflected projectiles, Disable was near-worthless, he used a lot of physical attacks for a pure psychic type, his jump was wonky like Ness' but without the powerful aerials...the only things I miss about him are Teleport, the fact that he carries items with his mind, and his ledge-climbing animation.

That said, I wish Lucario didn't talk. He doesn't have to say his name over and over, just grunts and yells like Mewtwo would be fine. But having a Pokemon talk outright (who isn't Meowth) just feels weird.
...Lucario doesn't say his name over and over. All he does is grunt and yell, except for his one line when activating his final smash.

But... that's a chick! Look at the chest! Look at the hips and the waist! No guy has pecs that shoot out like that while having such a skinny stomach, small waist, and wide hips.

Dangit fangirls. >.> Why you gotta make things complicated?

I didn't say he did. What I meant was, I wish he didn't speak English at all. I don't mean turn him into Pikachu or the other Poke-sentatives, but something like he is now minus the "THIS IS THE POWER OF AURA" stuff. Its just strange, and makes him not feel like a pokemon.

Mewtwo. He may have been a bad character in smash but his double jump cancels were sexy.

Oh yeah... best psychic type pokemon and all that.

I wish mewtwo was in brawl... just without the dodgy jump.

Where is the "Both" option. I mean, once they introduce a character to the series, they shouldn't remove it later. Sure, some are clones ("Oh yes, let's take out Mewtwo and Roy, but keep Falco and add Wolf, are we bright dur dur"), but so what? There will always be someone who plays Pichu or Roy or even Dr. Mario.

So yes, I want both Lucario and Mewtwo (along with all previous characters in the last three games) to appear in SSB4.
I agree. I mean, they altered Ganondorf and Falco so that they had distinct fighting styles in Brawl,
Actually, Ganondorf is almost the exact same as Captain Falcon.

I actually have been struggling to answer this question, as I really like Mewtwo but I can see the reasoning for him being replaced by Lucario. The reason Mewtwo was removed was because there was too many 1st generation Pokémon in Brawl and so they replaced him with Lucario who could represent not only another generation of Pokémon but also their most recent.

Also, Mewtwo being a legendary and all it seems odd how Pokémon such as Pikachu and Jigglypuff can take him on in one-on-ones while other legendaries are in stages and pokéballs doing great feats of destruction and power. It?s a small thing but one that did come to mind. So in the end I voted for Lucario to stay, for being able to represent another generation of Pokémon. Besides we can always have the following option...

Personally I prefer Mewtwo simply because he is nostalgic for me. He was the only legendary out of the original 150 who actually had a backstory beyond "This is legendary, throw ultraballs at it!" Is lucario arguably a better fighter once he has soaked up enough damage? Yes, but he just does not have the appeal Mewtwo does.
That being said, I see no reason not to have both characters. I agree with whoever said that all the characters should return in the next installment. This has the appeal of letting me choose any character I damn well choose from the previous installments so I don't have to learn a new moveset as well as choose from a new cast of characters. Not enough room on a disk? DLC. Super Smash Bros is one of those games I enjoy so much I would gladly shell out $10 or so for more characters. Within reason of course, none of this "oh we add 3 characters at a time" bullshit, I daresay a dollar a character would be a fair price for the consumer, and knowing this series, it would easily make its money back.
Of having Mewtwo and other removed characters be available for DLC. I quite like this idea, those who don?t want ?clones? in the game will have the choice of not downloading the characters, while those who want only a specific character (say you want Metwo but don?t want the others or want the others but don?t want Mewtwo) can do as such.

Lucario. Mewtwo was weak low-tier and a near-copy of Samus' moves besides, and this is coming from someone who has used Bowser. Lucario became his own character with excellent martial arts moves, counters and considerably higher toughness, though IMO like Mewtwo he takes himself far too seriously for a Pokemon.

Yes he's my main, why do you ask?
