Fair enough, a diplomatic resolution would probably have been a little more positive.Sober Thal said:I felt everything went spiraling out of control. Just before the end arc, I had to rid the world of a certain group I didn't want to.
Anders did his thing. The noble archer guy went to get an army.
Neither side acted appropriately. I guess the ending would have been boring if everyone just got along, but I felt invested in some characters, and it all came to a crashing blood pool of a halt.
I liked the ending as far as a game goes, just not as a fan of the characters. It was good, but I was sad. Again tho, maybe I will make better choices on my other playthroughs, and it will better. Now that I hate Anders..... yeah, it should be better : )
I have to admit I hated Anders long before 'that' happened, if only because he was such a dick to Merill all the time. The fact that he had useful healing spells just annoyed me even more, because it made things harder if I left him in Darktown for most of the game.
By comparison, Sebastian may or may not have been a boring, whiny person, but I never needed another archer so I honestly don't know.
