Dont apologize, its not like im Lord Pantomime, Master of Forums. Im just a normal guy. Just giving my opinion is all. As for games being a waste of time ...eugh. Aren't all leisure activities? The entire point of TV and books and music are to fill the minutes that we no longer have to devote to hunting down the next meal and making sure our children aren't eaten by a sabre tooth tiger.
I especially find it hypocritical when people come out with things like "Stop wasting time on that computer game and come watch tv!" what makes TV less of a waste of time than playing a game? Its also hypocritical to say a computer game is more of a waste of time than a board game. The media is different the intent and result are the same.
Of course, I would add the disclaimer that I think people need a varied life and should indeed mix up their entertainment.

I have heard loads of fantastic songs whilst playing Saints Row 2, and without Fallout 3, I wouldn't know or listen to all the great music from years back. I love the soundtrack and style of Fallout 3 music, and I wouldn't have heard of any of it if I didn't play Fallout 3.
I don't rely on video games to look for good works in other media. I only happened upon somethings I like because of video games, and should it also be a yes if it were the other way around? Like wanting to play a video game because of a movie? Or because of a song?MaxPowers666 said:
