Also... what's with the "Describe this brand with any words" captcha? I just put down "aa34ff023" and IT ACCEPTED IT! How does this bypass Spambots?
and yet, when it asked me to describe the brand 'honda' it wouldnt accept 'asimo'
( a honda product )
i think it's a bit random and broken.
perhaps i should try 'motive innovative technology company'
next time, because that would fit in the box right..
anyhoo, i vote torchlight 2 and i will buy it as soon as i get my paycheck in i was planning to do so for a whilke since it appeared on steam
blizzard wont get a look in from me untill they release the allways on internet requirement
there are times my internet breaks, there are times i dont want to / dont have the time to
'enjoy the game to it's fullest with co-op' as blizzard puts it
however:

Both, duh! Their aren't enough Diablo-like games.
Though it'll be diablo first, since it comes out first.

Diablo 3 because I have no clue of what the other one is.
Torchlight 2 is like what Diablo 3 would be if it was, you know, any good
The only point I concede to Torchlight over Diablo is the mods, I loved me some fucking mods

Gave the game so much life, specially the new classes. But still, I do think Diablo is going to be the superior game.
Captcha: top ten
Dont forget you can play Torchlight 2 with your friends on a LAN without having to connect to the internet. That is one of the things I am most looking forward to. Diablo 3 just seems really sad by comparison (in my opinion of course!)
Of course, but all my gamer friends and myself are computer science majors, we can and WILL figure something out, as we always do.
Where there's an IT student, there's a way! /Also CompSci major
there is, it's called Hamachi
works wonders. and it's free my friends use it all the time to create tunnels for lan games
also, The lower pricepoint means i can buy an extra game ( maby two if steam or an online retailer has a sale ) ontop of anything blizzard can offer and that's no small thing.
and the 'im a rich C888' argument dosent hold water because if you understood how money works you'd realise everything has an entertainment value
unless you're rich enough to buy the plannet and anti ageing technology to enjoy it all,
( protip, you arent )
then price and entertainment value has some meaning to you, however small you might feel it
lastly i dont like the pay for advangate theme in blizzard's diablo auction system
it just seems wrong.
if you have to farm for 200 hours to collect somehting you have an attatchment and a sense of achievement from getting it, if you paid $10 for it you'll quickly tire of it, become an elitest jerk and ask when blizzard is releasing new content and claim everyone else are newbs because you bought up the economy
it's not good for you, it's not good for the economy all it's good for is blizzard's allready swollen bank ballance
( they have enough money to declare blizz hq a private neuclear nation allready )
No, really.
when you weigh up the pros and cons i really cannot see a single reason to buy d3
unless you're allready heavilly invested in the series
which i get, i really do but it's still a poor purchasing decision
now, if you REALLY want to kick up the value notch a few degrees..
path of exile is launching free to play and has some seriously interesting talent builds for those excessively in love with spreadsheets and pvp combat
i just started the beta myself, so i cant comment too much yet but it looks promising however it lacks the graphical fidelity of tl2 or D3.
