Oh, yeah. I'm so excited about a game who's main focus, multiplayer, has been discarded and replaced by "something else" which I dare not talk about.

I'm gonna be an arse and pirate it, just for the Single Player campaign. If Infinity Ward can't give a shit about it's PC community then why should I give a shit about it's developers?

I'm relatively excited, but I won't be able to afford it straight away so that's taken away some of the initial excitment...

I'm not big on linearity, so no. If the R6 Vegas one or GRAW team was making this, it'd be a different story.

Not really. I kinda drifted away from the Call of Duty franchise all together. I may still get it to play with my friends in the Multiplayer, but that will proably be a couple a couple weeks after it's release.

Both Vegas games were relatively linear, they gave you a few different entrances to a room with terrorists every once in a while, but most of the time it was, "Go straight ahead through a wide area, get behind cover, kill everyone, go straight through those doors, repeat"

I'll be getting it solely because everyone that I play cod4 with will be getting it.

Okay...god for you?

Why isn't this in gaming adn just what are we supposed to discuss? Your post is also very low content which is reportable.
yeah that's right what are we supposed to discuss? any way I am exited not crazy but still exited to be able to play something new. I love the controls and perk system, and hopefully actually getting to play the game will ease any doubts I still have.
Though I bet there will still be hate from people who haven't played the game or wont.

No, lost interest in the game when IF went and ruined it.

And the E3 gameplay demo looked so good !_!
How is 9v9 ruining the game? That makes it better in my opinion.
I doubt he was talking simply about 9v9. The whole way that Infinity Ward did all those "things" and annoyed PC gamers for no apparent reason.

Incidentally, it's fun seeing all these acronyms for Infinity Ward! I've seen IF, and I think IS.

my friend got it early, played it and found it wasn't as good as MW1, it isn't all it was hyped up to be and doesn't feel at all like a call of duty game.

That's true, but that would make them less linear than ModWar. When I played CoD4, I felt they didn't even try to hide how linear it was, I remember a few times when I felt I should be able to jump over something or fit through something only to find an invisible wall. That hasn't happened in R6, and while GRAW has that "You are leaving the field of operations" thing, it takes me out of the game less because I see it as fitting in with the world instead of just having a developer telling me "You can't go there."
