The 2nd one. Several times over (mostly that you stated that 9 is the first Final Fantasy). I consider 9 lukewarm, but at least it's a step up from the abortion that is 8.

Indeed. but i prefer my get my tactical head on in other game series's. but i have not played tactics much, i should really pick it up again.

yeah sounds good. isnt fire emblem for the ds? because my ds is totally bricked. anyways, we are going off topic waaay too much, you dont want to upset the mods.

Meh, they don't really care (they let all that religious debate garbage go on, they won't mind if we talk about several different RPG series in one thread).

And there is A Fire Emblem for the DS. A bad one. The first 6 games are Japan-only releases so you'll only be able to emulate fan translations. 7 and 8 are officially released GBA games, 9 and 10 are a series and are for the Gamecube and Wii. All the officially released games except for 11 (Shadow Dragon for the DS) are good, as are 4, 5, and 6 of the Japan only games. 7 is my personal favorite.

As for Ogre Battle, I only played the GBA version but I loved it.

ive personally never played a final fantasy game....
ive played both kingdom hearts games (1,2) and saw the advent children movie thing which gave me the general idea of the characters , played ff 4 once for about 10 minutes at some place ...

but from what ive known around the net ff7 seems to be the most popular .....
but ff7 has cloud in it so iam gona say ff7 o.0?

However... Advent Children gave you a general idea of the characters? "Both" Kingdom Hearts games? You've never played a Final Fantasy except you did play a few minutes of the first one that was actually playable but was bare bones all the same?

i use shortened words cuz its the internet i have no goal to be grammatically correct all the time... punctuation isn't my strong side tho...

go watch advent children yourself (if you haven't already) the characters you see are like the exact personality and image they have in the games o.0 and ya "both" (both are 1,2 not including the hand held releases >.>)kingdom heart games have a massive amount of ff characters. whats with the !@$%!@%^^GSHSE!!1 thing...
