The Cthulhu mythos. The 1920's globtrotting and there'd be a gate somewhere and you can sandbox in a shifting plane of madness and dreams to.

It's weird. I play and love WoW, but to see an MMO come along that curbstomps WoW would be weirdly moving. I'm going to be a bounty hunter x)

I hope the subscription is less too.

Some cool ideas here.

I would personally like to see a Warhammer 40K open world game centered on an ork going from regular boy to Warboss. Maybe good way to revive the Gorkamorka brand. I'm picturing something very much like GTA San Andreas: on a continent of an ork world with a couple of cities and a desert in between; tons of minigames, races, side-quests, collectables, weapon & vehicle stashes. It should mostly be about orks but I could see a couple of other races getting stranded and/or trying to infiltrate an ork city.

Well an island would be easier to seamlessly put in barriers that restrict you but don't feel for lack of a better word Oblivionish.
Oblivion isn't set on an island.
and i quote from my previous post, don't feel oblivionish. Oblivion you were able to see places in the distance but not go to them, on an island all you would see is ocean and why would want to endlessly swim in the ocean. Never said it was based on an Island.
