I was searching YouTube for Halo 3 reviews and I came accross his. My jaw hit the floor and my life was changed forever. This messiah had a new disciple
So am I the only one whose been following Yahtzee since the beginning? Long before he made very angry videos, he did much more reasonable blogs and a few semi decent computer games.
Well, I actually read a quote of him on tvtroupes.com, looked at the page on him that site, then looked him up on youtube, finding his first two reviews and his announcement that theescapist picked it up.
i stopped watching g4 forever ago so i don't know what you're talking about. I think i stopped watching around the time cinematech went off the air and was replaced with something or other and then with cops.
*sigh* I miss when gaming wasn't the cool thing to be doing. Waaaaaaaay back when games were about more than explosion effects, space marines, and terrorist nazi alien homosexuals.
Last year after his Left for Dead review came out, a friend showed me the ZP for L4D (acronyms!) and I've watched the new one every week since then. It never even occurred to me that I might enjoy the rest of the site until last week, and now the Escapist is a daily stop for me!
I was googling a game (forget what it was) And Lo, there was a ZP episode, "This looks neat" I said clicking on it. watched it, liked it, saw all the others, joined site.
Tvtropes, actually. Seems like almost every other article there mentioned him in some form or another, so I googled "Zero Punctuation" and clicked on the first non-YouTube link.
Watched a few episodes, liked them, made an account, etc.
Honestly, I'm getting kinda bored with Yahtzee as of late, but at least The Escapist has tons of other stuff that still piques my interest, and now I stop by here three or four times a day.

A friend watched him religiously via Escapist and made me watch the Tomb Raider: Anniversary review (well, it was Tomb Raider as far as I was concerned). After that, we'd meet up after our Interaction Design tutorial on a Thursday morning to watch the latest on the uni network. ^_^
