During the holidays I'll sleep for 12 hours or so but on school days I'll get around 7-8 hours of sleep.
Aye, that does indeed work like a charm.Starik20X6 said:I get around 8-9, I'm not usually up past midnight and I try to avoid sleeping away the mornings.
When the first rays of sunlight hit your eyeballs in the morning, your body begins producing endorphins to slowly bring you out of your sleep, which makes you feel refreshed when you wake up soon after. When you're woken by an alarm clock, your body is jolted from sleep to wake without the endorphins meant to ease you awake, thus you still feel sleepy and disoriented. That's why I always sleep with the blinds open on my window that faces east. Elementary - Dear Watson said:I regulate my sleep on week days to 6 hours. That is all I need for maximum concentration in the working days... I don't have a limit on weekends, and will usually stay up until about 3-4 and then get up about 10... so strangly still getting 6 hours... :/ And I have only just realised that as I typed!
0100 is my bed time on a work night, as I get up at 0700!![]()
