Sony.

Though admittedly, I did not really registered much after they pulled out the Vita and I started imaginig playing new Persona games on it.
The rest was... just... kind of a blur.

For me I give it to Sony because I only cared about them and EA(Battlefield 3).

I'm definitely pumped for the Vita. I have a PSP and love a lot of the games, and this is a step in a new direction for hand held gaming, or so I believe. Sony for me aced it, but then again, I have always had a soft spot for Sony, and I might not be able to be objective enough. Nintendo is really surprising. I like all that they're announcing, and the new console, while I'm VERY cautious about, looks interesting and could be a new step for the industry. I didn't really see anything amazing in Microsoft, and the fact that they're doing another Halo after Bungie tried to bury it is disappointing. Kinect is a cool idea, and the mods out there are very ingenious, I just don't see anything major coming from motion gaming. I wrote off the Move a long time ago.

All in all, my vote goes to Sony, with Nintendo as a close second. I can't wait to see what starts showing up in the holiday season.

(Also, I am SUPER PUMPED about the new Sly Cooper.)
Just wondering, why is no one pumped about Sony's 3-D tv? This isn't just Sony hopping on the 3-D band-wagon; they actually allow 2 players to see individual, full-screen images of gameplay on a single display.

In the order that I watched, here are my thoughts;

Microsoft: D - So full of Kinect crap. Hell, I don't even dislike the peripheral, it's an interesting thing, but so much of it was so underwhelming and it gave us features that nobody asked for. All of that new LIVE stuff like YouTube and whatever are, you know, for free on the computer and most likely will never make it outside the US. They focused way too much on the "casual" Kinect games, and that Fable game was the most underwhelming thing I have ever seen in any E3.

EA: C- - They concentrated way too much on the stupid sports franchises. I want my SSX, damnit! Still, the new OverStrike game from Insomniac looks cool, which only makes me even more depressed because that was the only new IP announced. Seriously, every single game announced at E3 so far as been either a reboot to a franchise, a sequel, or a spinoff to a franchise. That's really depressing when you think about it.

Ubisoft: C+ - A good conference, I think, though the host got really annoying after a while;

Yeah, like that. Rayman brought back some damn good memories.

Sony: B - I though it was pretty damn good. Some new games sprinkled in, like Sly 4 (thank god!). The PSVita thing looks interesting, though I doubt I will get it as I am not a handheld person. They gave us some good demonstrations and demos of the games coming out, though they did concentrate on the Move a tad bit too much.

Nintendo: B- - There was absolutely nothing being shown that we haven't already seen. Only one new game was announced, Luigi's Mansion 2, everything else we already know is coming out. The new WiiU thingamajigger looks neat, but I am really disappointed that they didn't give us a demonstration on stage to give us an idea of how it would work. Some game announcements sprinkled in, but none were new IPs, which isn't surprising as it is Nintendo. It'll be interesting to see how the controller thingamajig will work out, but I just wish they gave us more info and more details on it rather than just giving us buzz words on "you" and "your experience!" and whatnot.

Overall, taken together, this has been a surprisingly underwhelming E3. A very depressing one as well, considering the only new IP I seem to recall is Insomniac's OverStrike thing.

Microsoft wins most "Shut the hell up about motion controls" said in a single conference.

Sony wins the "Obvious Announcements" trophy.

EA wins the "Shut up about sports" award.

Ubisoft wins the "Who let the Junkie on the stage?" award.

Nintendo wins the "Wait, huh? WHAT? That's a console?!" Medal.

Calumon: Mr Caffeine was scary... :S

Halo 4!!! Yeah I know it's gonna be a big pile of fail, but I can't help getting pumped about it anyway!

It was all really lame as usual.
At this point it doesn?t even seem like they?re trying anymore.
Except Mr Caffeine. That thing tried too hard; trying my patience. Seriously, Wayne?s World references... That weren?t even funny...back in 1992 when we first heard them?
I was impressed by the price on the vita but I?m still not buying it. I just don?t trust that Sony wont take away features and bog it down with constant firmware updates that only fend off hacks: It?s what?s happened to the first psp and the ps3.
I just hope that my ps3 holds on long enough for me to play Starhawk. It looks like fun but if my ps3 breaks, I?m not replacing it just for that.

I always thought I would be playing games until I died, but the industry is becoming so obnoxious, I really don't think I can take it much longer.
Normally I would get back into Warhammer 40k but they've gotten really overpriced and obnoxious too.

Maybe I'll get into stamp collecting. At least those are an investment and I imagine that there are a lot fewer obnoxious fanboys for expired postage.

Everything went as expected, or worse. Wii U was a surprise, awkward surprise, and I was not impressed at all, time will show I guess.

Nintendo, but they had a big advantage with a new console that we only had rumors about. I'm a little angry that they completely ignored the Wii itself (outside of Skyward Sword), but I guess that should be expected. Besides, none of the other conferences were particularly interesting (especially Microsoft and its theme of "let's shove the Kinect down everyone's throats").
Because Sony's conference definitely wasn't "Let's shove 3D and Move down everyone's throats"?

IMO, Nintendo won... Again. Which is strange, because a good number of their shows before the last two years were extremely crap (anyone remember 2008?). Let us hope Microsoft steps up there A-Game in the coming years, because there last couple shows have not been very good. Also, Ubisoft wins "The most improved since last year" award for not announcing anything resembling laser-tag and stupid breathing devices, and just talking about games.

For me it was Ubisoft, the host didn't bother me since he was only on stage for less than a minute between games. And they showed the most gameplay of all, by far. I'm now excited about an Assasin's Creed game even though I've only been playing Brotherhood for a few days.

Nintendo won to me but I think some people didn't like it because they couldnt really show much new games. I mean nobody would've cared about new wii games and the Wii U is really early in development so they couldn't show games for it, this left them with only 3ds games to show.

I'll say EA, because while the Sports stuff was annoying, everything else they showed was reeeeeaaaaaally good. Hell, that OverStrike game, assuming it's co-op, looks really good. Sony's splitscreen thing was also pretty cool, but I still gotta give it to EA.

Where's the option for "I'm hyped for AC and ME3 and not a single damn thing else"?

'Cause yeah.

Sony, with EA coming a close second.

MS ruined their Halo 4 reveal, and Star Wars Kinect and Fable SUCKED.
I didn't care at all about the 3DS, and that was 50% of their show.

The PSVita and the WiiU canceled each other out, and the Sony lineup of games was much better than Nintendo's. EA had the best showing of games, but no console showing so it sits in second place.

I was only really bothered about Skyrim, Assassins Creed: Revelations and Bioshock Infinite. MW3 piqued my interest too and looked very good too, I'll probably get it. Everything else was merely little tidbits for me to look at and see what was going on.
