I'm right next to Finland, in a little-known (very) small country (village) called Estonia.

Also again I have a reason for separating the United States from the rest of North America in this poll, ill keep the reason to myself for now but I will promise everyone that is not me being arrogant or egotistical.

And yeah, they are three countries connected, Lithuania being at the bottom of the sandwich, Latvia in the middle (they get it the hardest) and Estonia being ON THE TOP!

Honestly, I feel like this thread is a little odd... Why is it that every other continent is generalized while the USA is singled out?

Maybe it's just me but a bit of elitism?

By the way, Minnesota, United States, North America.

The United States is bigger than every other country albeit Russia, China, Canada.

Texas is bigger than any country in Europe

Yeah we Texans sometimes like to tell foreigners that Texas is its own country and then when they say they thought it was part of the USA we say thats a common misconception.

As for our size as a State, we cant gloat about it because then those damn Alaskans (just being funny I like Alaska) threaten to cut their state in half which would make Texas the third largest state. (Old joke).

Well, there ARE those 2 little islands off of the Canadian Maritimes, they are France (St. Pierre et Miquelon)...and, by North America, do you mean the tectonic plate? Because, that would include Greenland and part of Iceland, as well...
Also, I thought Mexico was also a part of North America??

Just out of curiosity and to test a theory I have about another thread, I just want to know where everyone is from. You dont have to get any more detailed than what country you are from, in fact you can even keep that bit of info to yourself and just vote on one of the continents in the poll.

Just because it's the "biggest", doesn't mean that it should be on the poll listed on its own when everything else is so generalized.

Ill reveal it but I want to wait at least a few hours to give a fair opportunity for people around the globe to post, after all due to the time differences most people from some places should be asleep so the poll data isn't very accurate. ((Notice no one has voted Australia yet)).

I promise you though that as long as this thread isnt locked for some gay reason before I can post my reason, I will eventually post my reason for having the USA and North America being separate poll options.

But it's strange. The last one of these I was on found most people were from Britain.
