I've had a ps3 for two years now. The Xbox never really appealed to me...the games just seem...meh.

If you are an online guy, go for Xbox 360. Sure, its pricey, but it is a much greater online experience(you know... minus the screaming 10 year olds).
PS3 is for single player people, much more large single player titles (Resistance, God of War, Uncharted)
