Valve have already released one - it's called Left4Dead
Got it. Played it. Beat the shit out of it. Almost went pro on it. Everyone stoped playing it when L4D2 came out. That game was shit. :? (

Nah, I hate Nazi Zombies. For one thing, it's mind blowingly repetitive. Seriously, the first few minutes of every round are exactly the fucking same, and the rest of it's pretty boring as well. The zombies aren't at all satisfying to fight, especially once they become really durable. The maps are too tight, and everything becomes rote. Every time, you do pretty much the same stuff, to the point where everyone has a little plan for the entire thing worked out, with not a single variable unaccounted for.

Fuck no. I hate it so much.

Please don't give those idiots ideas, especially one like this. There are already full zombie games out there, L4D and L4D2, that kick the crap out of Nazi zombies any day. If they were to make the zombies of CoD into an XBLA game then maybe it'd be good, but a full game at $60 would have me just taking a sledgehammer to the display and going to town.

I just enjoy the new maps, weapons and characters that Treyarch come up with. Personally, I've always preferred their Call of Duty games as they're way more fun than Infinity Ward's due to their strange ideas and lack of true realism. I've sunk hours into the zombie mode on World at War and Black Ops and even on my iPhone.

I think I'd have to indulge.

well it's nice when tagged on to CoD but for pure zombie fun L4D and killing floor already do the job just fine.
and games have reached maximum saturation of zombies anyway.

It'd be too "inventive" for Infinity Ward to actually do this.

They make the same game over and over again with slightly evolved controls, guys, and you keep buying it. Face the facts.
I don't think that's particularly fair, it's not like IW are/were completely brain dead drones who do things to be deliberately dull.

Same goes for Treyarch, who were the ones who created the Nazi Zombies mode.

no matter what you put into a CoD game, it won't get better (or good, for that matter). not even zombies would help there.

but alien zombie-robot pirate-ninjas... maybe ^^

Yes but only on these conditions.

4 player splitscreen, and multiplayer bots.

All the original maps from WaW and Black ops.

Include some exclusive weaponry and maps.

Customizable appearences.

A zombie type campaign for those who like progression.

Complete Dedicated online support from Treyarch.

Why. Because there are already way to many zombie games!

Seriously, what is everyone's fascination with zombies and zombies games?
"Just add zombies" isn't really what I call progressive thinking. It's been done. To death. (no pun intended)

It's like zombies are the new WW II or modern warfare.

Yes, but it's not as though there is a shortage of good zombie FPS's around. What we need to see is a solid proper zombie survival game, and non of this "survival horror" that they're trying to BS because of the salivation over SH2. A game where zombies are, for whatever reason the developers decide, now much more prolific than unaffected humans, you are among the few who, for whatever reason the developers decide, unaffected. You have to survive and help others survive (or don't) and then find some stories to play. Sure it could have lots of horror elements but that just comes with the territory of a deep real zombie survival game where you have to fight for food and water on a daily basis. I don't think there is one yet, prove me wrong.

Actually OT though, yes it is the only reason I like CoD at all since CoD4:MW's story.

The captcha would like me to inform you it is "Nifien free". Finally, someones taking a stand. Less nifien in our captcha!

Call of Duty Z Day

I would play something if Call of Duty did a type of WhatIf Games....and not try to hide them as real CIA agents in X kill Y for Terrorist Organization Z

or a Call of Duty Z

a story where it tells of a zombie invasion in X Y Z locations told by troops...

Nah, I think it's always been a decent add-on, but if they were to make a full game they'd need to change it so much that it wouldn't really be that close to what we know now. And calling it a Call of Duty game would just be jumping on the bandwagon of "We're making a game completely different to this popular series, but we still want it to sell." (I'm looking at you Bioshock).

But with Infinity Ward going out it looks like we'll need something to replace their hatred of player characters. Ya know what Treyarch, go nuts.

A full zombie game with tightened up servers, more maps, more guns, and selectable characters. That's a game I would pay full price for.

Hell no, its barely enough content to make up the 'special feature' of the Call of Duty game. Which funnily enough recieves more praise and attention than the 'mindblowing', 'genre defining' single player campaigns.

Yes. Without a doubt.

With at least like,

-6 or 7 maps or more each with a clever theme (underwater city, in the middle of World War II, in an abandoned city, in a normal neighborhood, etc.).
-Include all of the old maps for both, previous games.
-Tightened controls.
-ADD A HEALTH BAR OR SOMETHING (the "two hits" rule is bullshit and leads to stupid zombies glitching out and somehow taking you down with one hit WITH juggernaut).
-Many more perks.
-Many, many more guns (some map specific).

I'd say Left 4 Dead would be fine but I hate the fast moving zombies. Left 4 Dead would be wayyy better if it had twice as many zombies but moved slower (Romero zombies). Oh, and the "zombie hitting you, therefore you cannot move fast" is stupid as hell.

I haven't wanted a game specifically made for a mini-game since Final Fantasy X's blitzball. I'm still waiting for that game...

It's one game mode. I don't really understand what you're going for here, it would be like basing an entire game around team deathmatch, or domination or something.

Yes I would. A full game, with about ten maps? That would well justify the price of admission, several times over.
