Adding mods to a game does not equate making a true new game. That would take effort on the creativity front, which I have no reason to suspect either company to exert.Jonny49 said:I don't think that's particularly fair, it's not like IW are/were completely brain dead drones who do things to be deliberately dull.Silva said:It'd be too "inventive" for Infinity Ward to actually do this.
They make the same game over and over again with slightly evolved controls, guys, and you keep buying it. Face the facts.
Same goes for Treyarch, who were the ones who created the Nazi Zombies mode.
Thats a bit harsh to say don't you think? Left 4 Dead got a sequel with some "mods" and it was still great. A new game is a new game regardless, even then, at least Treyarch are trying (And so far have Succeeded). Also I should mention, IW is dead.Silva said:Adding mods to a game does not equate making a true new game. Pretty much, yeah. CoD now is 3 games. Single player (meh), Multiplayer (meh), Zombies (OH YES!)Ephraim J. Witchwood said:Two words.

Zombies is about the only thing CoD has going for it now, IMO.
Yeah I hate the two hits kills you. Not saying you should survive many many hits, but there is some times where zombies won't make contact but still counts as a hit. Also crawlers imo should do less dmg.ShockAndDismay said:Yes. Without a doubt.
With at least like,
-6 or 7 maps or more each with a clever theme (underwater city, in the middle of World War II, in an abandoned city, in a normal neighborhood, etc.).
-Include all of the old maps for both, previous games.
-Tightened controls.
-ADD A HEALTH BAR OR SOMETHING (the "two hits" rule is bullshit and leads to stupid zombies glitching out and somehow taking you down with one hit WITH juggernaut).
-Many more perks.
-Many, many more guns (some map specific).
I'd say Left 4 Dead would be fine but I hate the fast moving zombies. Left 4 Dead would be wayyy better if it had twice as many zombies but moved slower (Romero zombies). Oh, and the "zombie hitting you, therefore you cannot move fast" is stupid as hell.
I haven't wanted a game specifically made for a mini-game since Final Fantasy X's blitzball. I'm still waiting for that game...
And that would be because they make Call of Duty games? That's a pretty closed-minded way of thinking.Silva said:Adding mods to a game does not equate making a true new game. If they did make one, I think an arcade release would be more appropriate than a full price retail game. But this is Activision we're talking about.baddude1337 said:I think there should be an Xbox Live Arcade Title of just Call of Duty zombies, with the original mode and maybe a short campaign too.
