Yup, pretty much. The loan/grants are really awful compared to how much I'm paying (and I'm in the cheapest Uni accommodation I could get). I had budgeted and stuck to it (and not spent any money on my hobbies or music since christmas, and only went out drinking [a small amount] twice in the last month)...but forgot about the holidays *feels stupid*.Syan said:Seriously, I know people dont have credit cards/cant be arsed with amazon (really random payment method for a subscription!) but are my fellow students really so skint that they cant sign up for something because of $10?Superbeast said:...if I didn't have only £10 to eat, smoke and get to the library for the next 3 weeks, sodding uni!
This is pretty shocking the depth's of destitution that poor students have sunk too.
The overdraft and student loans are there to be spent! The debt is a lie!
I needed new glasses too, which set me back £150. Everything seems to come along at once as they say.
That £10 is the maximum limit of my overdraft too, so I'm living off baked beans on toast until my next loan instalment comes through
