...if I didn't have only £10 to eat, smoke and get to the library for the next 3 weeks, sodding uni!

Seriously, I know people dont have credit cards/cant be arsed with amazon (really random payment method for a subscription!) but are my fellow students really so skint that they cant sign up for something because of $10?

This is pretty shocking the depth's of destitution that poor students have sunk too.

The overdraft and student loans are there to be spent! The debt is a lie!

Yup, pretty much. The loan/grants are really awful compared to how much I'm paying (and I'm in the cheapest Uni accommodation I could get). I had budgeted and stuck to it (and not spent any money on my hobbies or music since christmas, and only went out drinking [a small amount] twice in the last month)...but forgot about the holidays *feels stupid*.

I needed new glasses too, which set me back £150. Everything seems to come along at once as they say.

That £10 is the maximum limit of my overdraft too, so I'm living off baked beans on toast until my next loan instalment comes through

Mount Doom? Mount Doom!? You're thinking on too small of a scale. Our hideouts more like the Death Star, but at least three times as big.

Except we have safety railings and a legion of Occupational, Health, Safety and Welfare Officers to make sure none of the giant laser beams we have don't pose a threat. Plus, our Darth Vader doesn't Force Choke people - he Force Waggles His Finger Disapprovingly.
