Wow, 54.2% voted to kill off the franchise.
I'm proud to be part of that majority.
Personally i didn't care for the latest sonic tragedy. Though if they'd simply cut out the werehog sections it'd a step in a severely better direction.
As a point the sonic team should have some sort of nanny, to look over their shoulders as they do their crayon drawings, and slap the wrists of any who suggest adding a 'gimmick'.

I think they could keep the 3d sonic if they would just slow it down and make it more platformy/acrobatic than the blazing fast okay what the heck did I just do feel that the last game I played had.

i enjoyed the first few levels of sonic heroes.
it was when they tried to incorporate more traditional platforming elements to the game that it completely failed.
the sonic games on the ds have been alright.
you'd think it wouldn't be too hard to make a good sonic game - traditional platforming mechanics intermingled with moving at uncontrollably fast speeds. how can you get that wrong?

Unless SEGA is prepared to make a proper Sonic game (like the ones of old or on the DS) then the franchise should be axed.

Release a Sonic pack for LittleBigPlanet, similar to Metal Gear Solid. The two are just made for each other.
