After watching E3 I'm really finding it hard not to recommend one unless you have some critical money issues. It is definitely worth it, for me it is the best Playstation yet.

I just finished watching G4s coverage of the Sony Spotlight, and it was awesome. I always thought, what Sony could do Microsoft could do better. However that doesn't seem to be the case. I really want to play Infamous, Uncharted, Resistence 2, Heavy Rain, Mod Nation Racer, and God of War. I'm on the fence and need outside opinions. Now i dont plan on getting rid of my 360 b/c of games like Mass Effect 2, and Halo. So....um, thoughts?
Do you have the money for one? Yes?
Is there anything you value more highly that you don't already have? No?

Then buy one, for God's sake, and stimulate our economy a little bit.
This seems like a fairly obvious answer.

You already have a list of games you want... so I say yes. I likes my PS3.

If you can afford the thing that is.

The chances are if you need to ask us you have some doubt in your mind over getting a PS3.

Wait a couple of days and look at some more of the features/exclusives and if it's still good then go for it. Spontaneous buying triggered by PR speechs isn't the best way to decide.

Get the PS3. I have all three consoles and the PS3 is definetly my favorite one. Its got better exclusives and is more reliable

yes, I own both consoles and, beleive me, telling my ps3 friends, "hey guys, I have gears of war and halo" and then telling my Xbox friends,"hey guys, I've got MGS and killzone 2" is an awesome feeling.

just joking, but seriously, the exclusive for the ps3 are really worth it now, IMO

If you really want those games then go for it, seems logical. That was the main reason I got mine. Well, that and I'm not a fan of the 360's controller (I tend to just get the 360 games on the PC).

Up to you I say. I would argue in favour of the 360 but after fighting off the XP fanboys on youtube I'm too tired to argue about which is better.

I just watched that coverage too and honestly, hell yeah, I'm gonna get one myself. I've learned to ask myself why not both 360 and PS3, I don't want to suffer not playing great games because I should be "loyal" to one console. However I am waiting for another price drop.

It depends on how urgently you want to play the games. The longer the wait, the more prices drop.

There's nothing wrong with having two consoles either. I have a Wii and a PS3. Realistically, I have all 3 consoles since any game I care about is either multiplatform or comes out on PC as well, so I'm never burned by the "OH MAN I WISH I HAD THAT" syndrome that everyone seems to be getting on one side of the fence or the other.

Of course, I'm very picky about what games I buy.
