Poll: Speed knifing in MW2

I wish I could reach through the internet and beat them with their monitor until they can't fucking use a keyboard again.

It's not even close to skillful either, it's just dumb.

The gayest thing to happen to gaming ever. It's just so fucking piss easy. It takes all the fun out of the game. Someone with marathon, lightweight, commando and a tack knife. It just ruins the game. One of the reasons I stopped playing. Teleporting speed freaks with knives that can reach you from across a room. You can shoot them when their about 12 feet away and they'll teleport into your fucking face and knife you.

Don't defend it saying it takes skill. Because I tried it. It's piss easy and take all of the freaking fun out of the game. That game is so broken it's not funny. The UMP needs nerfing too.

Or maybe you just suck so bad that you can't shoot someone with a ranged weapon even theough they only have one chance to attack you.

Yea that's about the lamest excuse I've ever heard. I already told you that when I tried speed knifing I cleaned up. It's a broken game aspect. That makes noobs like you think they're like super mega awesome because they can knife 7 people in as many seconds.

Players like them and I assume you, is why MW2 is noob central. And believe me... I'm not bad at the game.

In fact, judging by what I told you to do (aim better/faster) it's more natural to assume that I'm just really good at killing knifers. Nice try, assfuck.

Nope. I assumed that because you got so defensive over a broken game aspect that you were one of the noobs exploiting it. And my aim is more than quick enough. Or I should say was. I stopped playing it because I got so bored with it. There's no challange to it if someone isn't glitching, spawnkilling or noobtubing.

It's a broken unballanced game. Populated by way to many faghags that think their absolutely amazing at it.... like you.

I just finished a match where literally all 6 on the other team were marathon lightweight commando, silenced ump45, USP with a tactical knife.

The second we got in the lobby I looked at their clan tags and knew that could be the case. They didn't count on me muting them and setting up my team with 3 shields and 3 AA12 shotguns, scavenger pro and C4. We held a room with only 2 entrances and no windows. Shields had blast shield. The shields blocked the doors.

75-3 our win. And they called us pussies and noobs because we outsmarted them. If only they could all be defeated soo easily. Normally I'd be against camping, but "runners" deserved that loss.

The whole game is unbalanced and honestly isn't a whole lot of fun in my opinion. Do I think the class is cheap? Sure, but it's not OP enough to, you know, stay with your team and watch their backs with a shotgun. Whenever I ran into one of them I just played more cautiously, and always checked for the bastard and he rarely killed me anymore. They're being clever, you gotta think devilishly clever.

I can't imagine the amount of people that would quit if the CoD series went back to its roots I highlighted the part that's wrong. Since when are those 4-5 classes the only way to win? The F2000 can kill the same as the Scar. The Vector can kill the same as the UMP45. The reason people don't use them is they're not the "be all end all" weapons of their class. Why be good at something when you can take the easy way out? Why compensate for recoil when you can shoot straight all the time?

People have dug into the games code to see the weapons coded damage and see what they should use, and that's sad.

People need to stop ruining games by spamming the overpowered stuff. They use it because they know it's a cheap, easy way to get things done.

So they should use the underpowered or useless stuff instead? How does that make games any funner?

How does using only the overpowered weapons make the game more fun?

Perhaps they should stop looking at the power of a weapon and look at the weapon itself. What's good where? Where is the F2000 more useful than a Scar?

People don't know because they've never used the damn thing. They use the default UMP45 class until they unlock the Scar and call it a day.

By the way: No gun in that game is useless. No gun is underpowered. Only overpowered.

If you're sticking to the overpowered weapons, you're playing for the wrong reasons.

Well, this is just becoming absolutely pathetic. Both of you are reported for swapping insults in what should be the eleven-teenth time you've seen this topic. I thought, by now, we'd all not get so riled up over game-mechanics.

On-Topic - I occasionally play a speedy, mostly shotgun-based class with the assistance of Commando and Marathon. I do understand most these tactics are considered, by most, cheap. However, I play with two friends of mine who are now so used to my tactics I am always bottom on the board each time we play, or barely in second. People can adapt, if it annoys you that much then just 'level up' with some guy you know is a dedicated knifer.

When I had MW2, that's all I did. Didn't find runnng,crouch, shoot, repeat very fun to be honest. What was fun was humiliating nuke boosters, campers, sniper, etc, by getting killed once, then sneaking/sprinting from cover to cover to get right next to them, then knifing them.
Suprisingly, I always did this, but still ended up coming 1st-3rd in most games I played.
...lots of people yelled at me post game, though.

Commando may be the dumbest feature in any FPS game ever. It wouldn't be so bad if lag wasn't a factor, but with lag Commando basically makes the knife attack into an instant teleport-o-death from 10 yards away. It's broken, imbalanced, and most importantly downright un-fun to play against.

All that being said however, I'd still rather play against knife tards than Noob Tube spammers.

I've no problem with you replying to this topic, as I am indeed doing the same. Unfortunately, directly insulting other user's based on their opinions is against the rules of the forum and is, quite frankly, childish. It wasn't necessary to start personal attacks on each other and while saying "I could have skipped over it", I'm reporting you both because I like the thought of having a courteous board full of people that can hack other people's opinions without throwing a tantrum.

He enjoys this, you enjoy that, agree to disagree and move on. Having an arguement about who sounds most immature due to their choice of profanity is the point you should probably wonder "do I really care?"
