Poll: Speed knifing in MW2

Oh look, it's this thread again.

The Commando lunge is ridiculous, but if you don't kill them while they're running up to get close enough to do it, than it's your fault. They're running straight at you in a game where 2-3 bullets from most guns will drop someone. You deserve to get knifed if they come from right in front of you and you don't put them out of their misery.

Speed knifers are a mild annoyance. You know what's slightly more annoying than people that use speed knifing? People that quick scope with the Intervention. You know what's slightly more annoying than that? Grenade launcher attachment, 2x Thumpers and Scavenger. You know what's more annoying than all three of the above combined? The fifteen millionth complaint thread about how broken Modern Warfare 2 is. If you dislike it that much, fine, just don't play the bloody thing. If you like the game too much to stop playing it over these issues, than that's fine too. Just stop cluttering up the place with all these frigging threads about how much you dislike something in a game that you're going to keep playing anyways.

If you don't like Marathon, Sleight of Hand Pro, Scavenger, One Man Army, Stopping Power, Lightweight, Cold Blooded, Commando, Killstreaks, Akimbo shotguns and G18s, Quick Scoping, Heartbeat Sensors or tactical knives, and you would much prefer to play without these things, than I've got one little bit of advice that may help you out:
YOU'RE PLAYING THE WRONG FUCKING GAME.
The perks, the quick scoping, the ridiculous lunging and killstreaks are all part of the game known as Modern Warfare 2. They're part of the experience, and if you don't like that, than go and play something else.

I can see why people complain about these things. The Original Modern Warfare was a masterpiece: it was complex yet simple. Fun for everyone, yet challenging. Modern Warfare 2 took the idea and ran with it, and it had some really good potential. The problem is, its too complex now: they threw in too many mechanics, which messed up the balance.

People complain in an attempt to get people modivated, and get these changes made. It wont work, far too many 13 year olds like the exploits.

Personally, I would like to see a gametype with restricted Kill Streaks: much like Mordern Warfares system and more playlists. I understand no XBL party for Search, but why not for TDM? Ill just end up muting people who arent my friends. Ive accepted CoDs BS, it irritates me, sometimes, but whatever.

Just goes to prove further that MW 2 is friggin broken... I got tired of them doing it so I tried it too and it's so ridiculously easy that no wonder all the noobs do it... what a shitty game.... I now play TF 2. Oh and Alien Swarm is free.

People play MW2 because it's fun...=P

doesn't work in hardcore so well so I don't really encounter it too much, but when I do in softcore, it's annoying and piss easy to do

Knifing is not that big of a bother to me. I know a lot of people think it is cheap when someone goes an entire match knifing people and getting kills. That is what helps the person win. If they are cheating by using a glitch or using lag than I can understand the anger. If they are using the perk without to its full advantage without cheating than I don't see anything wrong with it.

If being killed by a knifer each time makes someone really angry than I think they need to turn the game off, quit playing the multiplayer, or get over it and accept stuff like that is going to happen. If you are not going to have fun while playing the game than what is the point of playing the game?
