I'm nervous.
Contrary to what a lot of people say, the original Battlefront games weren't just Battlefield games given a Star Wars skin. For one thing, they played much, much better in third-person mode, and had character actions such as rolling or wheeling (as a Droideka) that couldn't be done properly from a first person view.
I really, really don't want DICE to make Battlefront 4: Star Wars edition. Yes, the Frostbite 3 engine has got some nice destructive scenery, but I don't play Battlefront to blow halls in walls. I play Battlefront to shoot droids in the head, run around the battlefield as Yoda, and jump into an X-Wing and get into interstellar dogfights with TIE fighters. Battlefront II had probably the best space-combat controls of any game I ever played. DICE need to live up to that. Battlefronts I&II covered pretty much every on-screen battle in the Star Wars films. DICE need to do more than simply rehash those same battles in HD.
Not that it matters. I haven't bought an EA game in a long time, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
