Poll: Starter Poke'mon

Now don't get me wrong, I believe Poke'mon should not be and anyone who plays it seriously deserves to be bludgeoned to death with their own junk, but still there is a recurring argument between the people in my school who actually like that stuff so with the release of platinum I thought it would be appropriate; What is your choice of starting poke'mon?

I voted I hate Pok'emon with the heat of a thousand suns. But if someone help a gun to my head and forced me to choose I would pick fire. Its the only element that can do any collateral damage besides lightning.

Truthfully i only ever liked charmander and mudkip for starters. i liked swampert alot more so water it is!

Water pokemon can be found under damn near any rock, and Fire pokemon are expendable

But grass types... they are truly great

I don't choose a specific type, just who I like. So far, my first choice starters have been split between fire and grass Pokemon between all four generations.
