I own 233 games on Steam. I mostly blame gifts and the holiday sales. I created my account on the 21st of December, no less. >.>

I played games on the PC when I was younger, but eventually gravitated towards consoles. I spent several years playing exclusively on 'em, but around the time I created my Steam account, I mostly moved over to the PC. I enjoy console and PC gaming equally, it's just that most of my friends only play on the PC. I will still play most multi-platform RPGs/singe-player on the console though, 'cause I prefer laying down in bed while playing.

Steam works well, it's easy, and allows me to play and talk with friends. A lot of people seem to have a problem with Steam and anything DRM, but I personally don't care or mind. I like teh Steam, mmhmm.

I think I have around 20, but I don't do any of them any real justice by properly playing them. I tend to neglect Steam (shamefully) a fair bit, but I do want to get into playing the games I have on it a bit more.

No, it is because you are lazy. LAZY.
I'm lazy because I prefer being completely comfortable opposed to sitting in a squeaky chair in a cold office, talking to fat goats, eh?

Pfft.

I have 11 games, and I love Steam. It accepts my Walmart pre-paid debit cards, so I can buy games with ease. Even though my laptop sucks at gaming, I figure I might as well build up a library now.

And i still think it sucks as a gaming service. commercial and social sides of it are nice though (package-deals, friends-lists)

Excluding mods, which really take up close to all my library, I have... 16 games. Not much, but TF2 keeps me occupied forever.

EDIT: And I think it's got a few problems to iron out, but it's excellent.

I have three games on steam. All of them free-for-me. Two as a gift, one for free from Valve.

I deeply loathe this system. Hate everything about it. Want it to die in a fire.

Mostly because, to me, it embodies everything that is wrong with PC gaming.

Less then 20 (some I was forced to use steam for) and personally don't like it, the prices aren't all that great considering the money they save compared to sites like Amazon and play or stores like Game. They don't have to deal with the games being stored and delivered or taking up shelf space in a shop or anything like that, but it still costs just as much as what other places do.

I will admit though some of the sales on there are very good though, but if you look around Amazon well the UK site anyway you'll find plenty of games going for next to nothing.

While auto-updating is nice feature sometimes being able to manually path games works out better as the latest patch isn't always the best.

I also think steam allows valve to be lazy as they make lots of money selling other peoples games, so there's no real urgency on their part to get their own products out.

EDIT: I also prefer having physical copies of the products i've bought when possible, which when it comes to steam is never.

I only have games for Steam that I bought in the store. I do not buy digitally distributed games because it does not add to my row of boxes.

98, but about half of them are games that I can no longer play since I only have my crappy laptop.
EDIT: Also thaks for making me open Steam. It allowed me to see the awesome deal on Bully. Hope I can run it on my laptop.

4 games. I don't play a lot of games on my computer anyway. And I'm still having a hard time deciding if I should buy Left 4 Dead 2.
