Why do we need to hate? 360 owners can't seem to leave the ps3 guys alone explain, why they hate so much!!! It seems that the rumors of MGS4 only adds to the fire. And please don't troll.

yes. i have both. (wii is not a console, it is a toy)

The Xbox 360 and the PS3 are the same thing when it comes down to it.
The PS3: You pay more at the start to get slightly better graphics and to play free on-line.
The Xbox 360: You pay less at the start so you can play more populated on-line matches and buy one or two more games.

Hmm... this does seem like its gonna turn into a flame war, but hey. I have a Wii and a PC. I actually had to buy a second-hand gamecube for my room because it is nigh-on impossible to get on the Wii, with it being played a lot of the time by my sisters (and me not even getting a look in).
I have no intention of getting an XBox 360, as the games get released on PC within six months, and the PS3 only has about 3 games I would want.

Heh, this phenomenon isn't new. Back in the day it was Nintendo vs Sega, we thought it would never end. Now look at it. Sonic and Mario on a Nintendo. Who would have thought?
Back then I owned a SNES and my buddy owned a Sega Megadrive (Or Genesis as they were known elsewhere), and we would often visit each others place for a go on each others console. No fanboyism between us at least, but many was a playground fight started over Sonic being better than Mario.

Dude, what are you talking about? They're all toys. The xbox 360 is a toy, the PS3 is a toy, the wii is a toy. VIDEO GAMES ARE TOYS. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just what they are. At my local gamestop I was checking to see if they mange to acquire any copies of ICO since the last time I visit them. Not wanting to leave empty handed I make my way to the ps3 section of the store to see whats new, as I'm browsing the selection a man in his mid twenties comes up to me asking why I'm "looking for game for a paper weight" I admit that I was a little stun by this as I try to ignore the stupids as much as possible. I inform the man that I own his so call "paper weight" fallow by the response of please leave me alone. But this was not to be as he felt incline to "inform" me that the 360 is to best and by choosing something else made me less of a human being. He continue to "inform" me till I was in my car.
So I ask why this has happen and have you run into a similar situation?

The other problem is something I was talking about in another thread earlier. Everyone feels like they HAVE to pick one side. Like they can't enjoy 2 things of equal or similar value. This happens with everything, not just every generation of consoles.
