I think the Lizardmen will take it. Their combination of a really strong frontline with the crazy mobility of their Skink backline is just so good. Especially when they have the experience and skills to back it up which, at this competitive level, is a given.

Seattle's still in it? Sweet! I'm rooting them since I'm originally from that area. It would be nice to actually have a Superbowl win. Granted I haven't really been keeping up with it since I'm never around people who watch it anymore. Watching football by yourself is just kinda weird.

Edit: I'm not sure how American Football would work in the Olympics. It really doesn't seem popular enough around the world. I'm also not sure how the competition would work. Normally teams have a week to recuperate and plan. Seems like players would also be way more injury prone having to play games so close together. Are they actually talking about doing that?

Halflings without a chance? Those treemen look sorta scary.

(As an aside, GW is seriously toning down all it's specialist games stuff)

...

More on topic...apparently the super bowl is also the sex trafficking event of the year in the US, to the extent that flight crews are supposed to watch for signs that kids are child prostitutes. (I don't see the flight crews doing anything useful to stop this, though the child prostitution thing is much greater during this time)

I predict the ads will involve babies acting like adults, celebrities making the same mistakes as us normal humans, horses pulling a buncha beer someplace old and folksy, something about chips, dip, and/or wings, women in lingerie throwing a football, oh and movie trailers for The Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, The Hobbit: The Corruption of Bilbo, Godzilla, Iron-Man 4, Man of Steel 2, and Pacific Rim 2.

Sorry, can't say I watch the superbowl for the game. Just the ads and the halftime show.

The only football I watch is CFL and that rarely at the best of times.

It's a fun sport to watch live but I NEVER have seen the fun in watching tournaments unfold on TV.

To each their own.

it will be the 6 man kind apparently and there seems to be just enough countries willing to participate for it to be accepted. Also hi five im a big Seahawk fan and yeah im hoping they go all the way this year:)

I doubt Amercian football will be an Olympic sport soon. Baseball and softball did not make it to 2016, largely because of its American only mainstream status. Football has only got recognition, which baseball and softball have had for decades. There are far more nations that play cricket and rugby than play American football. Globally football has no following.

Whatever, just wash your hands.
I think one team is going to win and the other team is going to lose. That is the extent of my knowledge of this super soup bowl.

Cthulhu will win. Bruno Mars will open his mouth and awaken Cthulhu with his annoying music during the halftime show. I'm sure there's a chance.

I'll stick with the prediction I made before the season started, Denver vs. Seattle with Seattle winning it. I'll admit that both New England and San Francisco look good, but I'll stick with my first pick.

Nah, that's not C'thulhu's style. Bruno Mars is more likely to summon Nyarlothotep, he's more than trolly enough to go for this.

Well I do hope something like that happens. I don't like New England as it is, but then again, I'd prefer Seattle over Denver. And with both Ravens and Saints out, I am just rooting for "Not Patriots", really.

Seattle was one of the teams favored before the season started actually, and they've had the best season they've had, since I've been watching anyway.

OT:

I'm expecting Seattle VS Denver for the big game this year, but the Patriots beating Denver wouldn't surprise me ether.

whats that? not giving the 40whiners the time of day? nope. while they did beat Seattle late in the regular season, it was far from an impressive display and it was a win that really look more like they got lucky more then anything else, and now they're going back to Century Link? yeah, no, not when they have a history of getting destroyed there.

Seattle VS Denver seems to be the most likely Super Bowl match up.

As for who would win that? not sure. While I wanna say Seattle, cause Northwester pride, I can't be 100% sure, Denver is a good team, it would be foolish to just discredit them

I'm hoping for Seattle over Denver in the big one. Can't stand SF or NE, and on top of that, Russell Wilson uber alles.

As a huge football fan (president, secretary and treasurer of the one-member South Australian Tennessee Titans Fan Club) I gotta say I REALLY don't see it going to the Olympics. It would be enjoyable (if one-sided) but it ain't gonna happen. Of course, if you have evidence to the contrary you're welcome to source me.

I tipped Seattle & New England. My first aim (getting rid of the *#&@! Colts) was achieved, now I'm gonna see off Peyton if I can.

Ugh...I'm so horrible at picking these even though I absolutely love football but I'll give it a go anyway:

Seahawks V. 49ers
As much as I like Seattle, I think they're relying almost solely on their defense at this point. Rusty has no real "Elite" WR to play with (with Percy "Two Play Max Limit" Harvin being the closest thing). A great RB and Defense allows them to stay in it but a high scoring offense that can handle "the 12th man" is going to kill them. Enter the 49ers...just like Seattle except I would argue equal or better in just about every way. Lynch is the only one I would call clearly better for Seattle versus the 9ers side (Ol'man Gore, who's still good, just not elite).

Patriots V. Broncos
This could be a freaking coin flip. Broncos have a TON of weapons and an OK defense (though that just took a hit) while the Patriots have a good amount of weapons and an OK defense. Patriots have already taken down the Broncos once in epic fashion but I just can't see it happening again...

As to the Olympics, I think that's a terrible idea. Granted, I think just about any "team" sport shouldn't be in the Olympics either so maybe that's just me...
