Weither or not you can pull it off it's still gonna be perfectly clear that you got the idea from a video game and that they can cuase young people/kids to do dangerous things.

... Oh yeah then there's the whole being dressed like an "Assassin" in a public government building, in short I thinks it's one of those damned if you do damned if you don't fall or make the jumps.

It's only a good idea if you can get a well-done costume, and you can actually freerun/parkour. If parkour isn't your strong spot, you should probably get to training right now if you want to be doing buildings by next Halloween.

I would say it depends on how agile you are and how good you are at free-running.

If you're pretty good at it then by all means this is a good idea, if you have the dexterity of a paralyzed fish then this is a very bad idea.

Would be more interesting than the last time I saw a guy dressed up as alister, he was drinking beer and texting, thoroughly unimpressive.

Also dressing in cosplay is not the best way to get girls but whatever.
If they're isn't a single girl at his school that would be at least a little interested in the crazy guy jumping around on the roofs, maybe he should just save himself up until college.

Really though, it's a bad idea. You should be dressing up as Etzio instead. Christ, think next time will you?
I have an even better idea.

OP should get another friend to dress-up as Ezio and they should have an assassin battle on the roof.
Okay, the assassin battle...terribly incompetant idea, but incredibly entertaining if you can pull it off without damaging either of you.

You'd best make sure those are good costumes. And that you don't die. Not dying would be good.

If your school is a one-story building and since Halloween's on a Sunday...I'd say go for it! It's public property. (Trim up on your free running and swordfighting skills!)

If you can clear it with the faculty so you don't get suspended / expelled, and do it carefully, then it sounds like great fun. But you should amend the deal to Ezio's costume, since it is so much cooler than Altaïr's.

Bad idea. You could get hurt and give people more reasons to say "video games are corrupting our youth."
So to sums things up: Dangerous and would give video games a rather bad rep.

Ignore the people saying yes, they just want to see someone do something cool without a thought about the person's safety.
Dress up as Jack Thompson!

Weigh pros and cons; how much will it cost to get an Altair costume? How easily can you free run? How much will medical (/funeral) bills cost if you guess wrong and try anyway? Will you seem dorky or awesome (demographic of school)? Do you care?

Your call, but I'd say bad idea.

Climbing around on the roof of public buildings can be very dangerous, depending not only on the condition of that roof (if it can bear your weight) and federal regulations. Not to mention if your principal is the type to see somebody run around on the roof wearing a goofy outfit and order the sheriff to shoot you down for fear that you're planning on a murder spree.

Won't you get almost expelled or in serious trouble anyway? Is it really worth it?
