The New California Republic.
Although they're assholes, they're the closest to my mentality;"For the greater good",and all that jazz.

I'd go with NCR, at least they're trying to improve things.

Caesar's Legion is just too evil for me, first time I encountered them was in Nipton, and seeing the crucifixes just made me mad, so I gunned them from then on. Plus, Boone hates the Legion, and I do not want to get on his bad side.

As for Mr. House...

Mr. House got me shot in the head because he decided to start using his robots with an operating system that couldn't use the freaking rocket launchers and grenade launchers that said robots were built with!
Would you rather have no robots or robots well-able to handle themselves when not running at full capacity?
Obviously I'd rather have some robots then none, but still doesn't explain why the guy would even bother making an operating system that couldn't utilize the robots weapons.

I havn't had to make a choice completely yet (though the time is drawing near when I'll have to make one or the other flat-out hate me) since all gaming is on hold for exams, but I wound up siding with the NCR, I didn't really like what they'd done in the past and they seem a bit useless, but I play as a female character and all the legion pretty much come off a mysoginist gits.

I went with yes-man, which for some reason isn't on the list..

Legion.. meh.. I kind of wanted to get to Caesar and find out he was actually a principled guy who viewed all the atrocity as a necessary evil to unify the wasteland. But nope, he actually is a dick who honestly believes that women belong in rape camps. After that, I actually got quite into killing him and everyone he knew.

I wanted to like the NCR, I mean they've been with us for the whole fallout series and we've watched them grow from a tiny village to a fully fledged mini-nation, but they just came off as excessively self-righteous in their mission to unify the wasteland by killing everyone who disagreed.

Me though.. I'd side with House. I'm not really the leader type, so I don't think I'd take the risk I did in the game. For all his arrogance, House does have a plan.

I'd side with neither. I prefer to side with House. He has shown the ability to rule New Vegas, albeit with an iron fist. He has the intelligence to foresee disaster and respond accordingly. Caesar's legion is incredibly violent and incapable of evolving as a society. The NCR is too laden with bureaucracy to be effective (much like American politics). House rules behind the scenes, keeping order among those of the highest echelons, which keeps order on a more local level with the self-governance of the families. I'm a bit of an elitist, and I believe those with the intelligence and passion to oversee a society, but allow it to prosper and evolve, should have the ability to rule. House only wants to keep order and keep money rolling into the economy. He allows for agency and autonomy in his subjects. This is my ideal.

I went Wild Card. In the end, I'm the only one I really trust to make the right decisions.

The Legion are a bunch of savages; I killed all of them I met.

NCR has good ideals, but it's spread too thin and its bureaucracy is terrible. I helped them, but I felt like I was carrying them. Maybe they'll get their act together now that they don't have to worry about the Mojave.

Mr. House is smart, but I don't trust him. I don't think he really has the good of the citizens in mind. Plus he wants the Brotherhood dead. No way.

Let's compare the sides:

NCR: a working government. The worst they'll do to you (if not fighting you because you started it) is annex your land and tax you.

Caesar's Legion: they'll probably end up doing what their predecessor did and overextend themselves, thus falling. Also, they crucify/torture people. Big step up in horrific-ness from the NCR, no?

Mr. House: he can manage on his own without you, methinks. He has thus far. Also, he's a dick. Unnecessarily, too.

Yeah, NCR for me. They're the least horrible.

Mr.House all the way baby. What right does the NCR have to The Strip? It was Mr.House's genius that built The Strip, kept it safe (With Securitrons) and helped it flourish. I help the NCR out whenever I can but I'm not going to help them overthrow a guy who seems like a very fair and intelligent leader. Caesar's Legion can go fuck themselves, I wear one of their Decanus' Helmets as a trophy. >:)

Every time i try to play anything but the NCR, i end up with a really shitty ending. NCR's mentality is: Hey, we're going to take this from you and if that means bringing peace, order, and water to you, then so be it.

NCR all the way, they're the only ones that seem to be committed to making a lasting change for the better for the most people.

Originally the OS could be run on the pirates of full capacity prior to the war and the battle over Hoover Dam.
