Poll: The Best RPG of This Generation

I'd say Fallout 3 from the western ones and Lost Odyssey from the JRPG's. I'd rank Lost Odyssey at the top if it wasn't so infuriatingly frustrating at times, but epic story and scope is epic.

fallout 3 is better than oblivion, but basically the same game. its like saying brawl is better than mele, you played mele first and they are 99% identicle anyway! so how could you prefer the later game unless you where retarded enough to miss out on the first??!?

voted oblivion. anyone who disagrees with me is a fool! I'm not being biased either I love mass effect too, but its a linear game that lasts about 5 hours gameplay, how could you compare it to a sandbox game that you can invest weeks into, and do things like explore and not just listen to diaglog?

I stopped listening after about the first sentance. Calling people 'retards' isn't going to help anything, and you need to learn to respect other people's opinions. Also, get your facts right. There are large differences between Brawl and Melee, and if you finished Mass Effect in 5 hours you did it wrong.

maybe I rushed though mass effect the first time, but I completed it twice and did all the extra stuff including DLC and all planets, content still pales in comparasion to fallout 3 or oblivion and thats even without any of the DLC.

each to his own! I actually like mass effect alot but its defo overated, not even better than kotor tbh. got better graphics and combat but no depth and too linear.

The thing is, there are differences between Brawl and Melee - that is a fact(Subspace Emissary, trophies, stickers). How much you enjoyed a game isn't, that's an opinion.

As for the rest, I also think Mass Effect's overrated, and agree with you mostly (except for depth).
